  1. I don't remember that one quarter, but overall, despite an upturn in offensive responsibility, I thought Salmons played solid defense on Pierce throughout. That's why one quarter is not definitive — Salmons has always been a good defender.
  2. They would do it to maintain the unique match-up advantage that Lewis poses at the 4. Those mismatches were huge for Orlando and part of what made them such a special team.
  3. Why are Dampier and Salmons on that team?

  5. I think Orlando intends to keep Lewis at the 4, so Bass is the sixth man for now. I'm a bit partial to Gortat's tenacity and size for Orlando's frontline, but assuming they don't match Dallas' offer, this isn't a bad tradeoff at all.
  6. Yeah, this was the image: http://ec.mashable.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/imageshackhack.gif Wonder what that's about.
  7. She wasn't. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2009/writers/jimmy_traina/07/09/heather.nicholes-not-happy-with-rampage-jackson/index.html You go Rampage, you ladies' man you.
  8. Wow that's great textwork. Good job.
  9. For the most part I agree with your assessment, but I'd like to add that while Shaq is a pretty poor defender now, he's better than the immobile stiff that is Ilgauskas. I still foresee problems defending the PNR, but their prospects against Orlando have improved vastly.
  10. 1) Tony Gonzalez 2) Jason Witten 3) Antonio Gates 4) Chris Cooley 5) Kellen Winslow Owen Daniels is 5b.
  11. I am so jealous if Portland signs him, but I've got a gut feeling that he's returning to Utah.
  12. There's too much disparity to crown either conference. It's up in the air.
  13. http://thefilmstage.com/2009/04/17/the-most-over-the-top-action-movies-of-the-decade/ This is not a link to Michael Bay's résumé.
  14. I really think Jordan is considering Brand at the 5.
  15. Uh, Martin is one of the league's best at getting to the line, coupled with an unprecedented first step. It's probably why he's so injury prone. He can play off the ball and catch and shoot, but your assessment is way off.
  16. First, there is no guarantee that Miller is gone, but if he is, we're assuredly getting some compensation for it through a sign-and-trade. We brought in Jason Kapono, Jrue Holiday, and Elton Brand—who thoroughly dominated you guys when he was healthy—is back.
  17. He should've picked 0, for how many championships the Lakers will win with him. Just kidding, maybe.
