Agreed. If the first deal where it was bynum and a bunch of picks is definitely not enough to get a player of that calibre.. Almost a slap in the face to Orlando and Dwight in my opinion.

If Jermaine O'neal gets traded to NOH he would want to be waived and sign with the Heat. That's what I've been hearing from the rumor mill.

Oh yeah I heard about that as well.. I wouldnt mind Jermaine back again so long as he can be healthy. And out of those three I would rather get rid of Howard, since he is by far the oldest.

Good to see that we can keep Chalmers, but not sure about keeping Miller. . . If the guy can stay healthy it will be a good risk to take as he is a great player when he is indeed healthy! But I would rather have gotten a center to anchor the defense and rebound and even finish around the rim, such as Sam Dalembert, if possible.

Sweeeeet! Love everything about Battier. But we still need another rim protector who can actually catch and finish. Kwame, pryzbilla, dalembert? Anyone like that I wouldnt mind at all.

Totally agree.. Awesome signing if true. Love what Battier brings on both ends of the floor. But youre right also in the fact that they need a center other than joel anthony.. A la Joel Pryzbilla, if Dalembert wants too much money?

I still doubt it.. Especially if they have the chance to sign Dalember and then Battier.

I am actually okay with that... Heat have had worse centers on Dwight before and have been able to kind of dictate what he does. Sure Dwight is gonna get points, rebounds and blocks simply because he is Dwight Howard, but if the Heat do get Sam Dalembert That's just another guy who can really bug what Dwight wants to do. If Joel Anthony and Big Z could bug Dwight last year, having Dalembert and Anthony should considerably a bit more. And yes Bosh may Be put on Howard at some points during the game, but it will not be significant minutes, so I would be okay with that.

Exactly what I was thinking.. If the Heat lose Miller their bench is pretty much garbage. They have Haslemwho can get 8 ppg but who else? Only other player I see is Anthony as a decent center backup, which is only for defense. No bench depth whatsoever.
