I don't see how this would only be only a "very small improvement over Joel Anthony" ... Dude is 6'11" instead of like 6'7" (I know he's listed as 6'9", but that's gotta be wrong), can rebound and can actually do something on offense as where Joel can't do anything in that area.. That's 3 big things that that he can immediately help the Heat with. Only way the two are comparable is in the shot blocking department. If he goes to the Heat other teams can't just leave the center all alone like they do with Joel because Dalembert actually knows what to do with the ball when he catches it. Which is another thing Anthony can't do is catch the ball. Don't get me wrong I love Anthony n all, but he is much better suited as a back-up center than a starting center.

^ Yeah man thank God is right.. I love the guy and all, but he didn't contribute much at all last year (at least not the post season) So good to see that he figured out that he's not really too useful anymore and decided to actually retire. Good all around player, but yes, it was his time.

Would love to see McGrady on the Heat and play some significant minutes at the pg position. I think his size and experience would be great for them. He's a great playmaker, can handle the ball, play some D, and can add a little extra scoring for them, which they need.
