His defense never bothered me, his only fault was on fast break getting tons of charges, but his defense was alright and his offense was solid. And Smush's defense was terrible and his shooting % reeked, Wafer was a good shooter and actually came up when it mattered, and shoot Wafer wasnt even a PG. Ron also wasnt a primary option, I repeat, not a primary option, he tried to be yes, but he just bricked and bricked, and hes always been a chucker. Artest also did screw Indiana in the playoffs kinda like how he will screw the Lakers. Thats good that he'll be seeing less time on the court if he starts screwing up, when that happens he is gonna blow up and start talking behind Jackson's back, the guy isnt a stable human being, he'll screw the Lakers one way or another. And Rodman, Shaq, Kobe and a "young" Pippen are different situations, those guys are good/solid players who have almost no history of chucking, well Kobe was somewhat of a chucker, but hes a good chucker while Artest is a bad chucker, the guy will screw you over and i'll be laughing in the Laker game threads everytime this happens.

Gasol also is a different story, when he was traded to the Lakers, EVERYBODY was mad and thought that the trade would help the Lakers a lot, I even knew that this would make the Lakers good, I didnt think he'd have such an impact as a player but I knew that trade would defenitely help out the Lakers. Artest also never was a 1st scoring option for us, he actually never was, when Yao and T-Mac were injured in Lakers series our main scoring option was Aaron Brooks, vs Blazers, Brooks and Yao were the main options, Artest has sucked his entire career in the playoffs, with Indiana, with Sac-Town, with Rockets and it wont change because hes playing with Kobe and Phil. I also wont see anything, Ron will screw you guys over and i'll be laughing behind my tv set when a smarter team just beats you in the playoffs, you guys could just win if Artest gets injured but the guy is a cancer and no show in the playoffs, my experience watching him in the playoffs shows this and the statistics show this, his field goal % will fall below 40% in the playoffs, im willing to bet cold-hard cash on this with anyone.

Artest is good defensively yes, but he cant guard fast players (Brandon Roy, Kobe, etc.) and gambles for steals. I wasnt on Artest's nuts at all, you need to look up on urbandictionary what the word being on someone's nuts is, i was never on his nuts, I supported him like most fans did and guess what, I was wrong about Artest, just like Laker fans were wrong about Smush Parker after the first 2 games for the Lakers where he scored 20 both times. Laker fans will feel the same exact thing, you'll see who this guy is in the playoffs, and he wont play within the offense, its like teaching a Bird how to sit, quite impossible.

What the team needed? We didnt need him to jack up shots, we needed him to play within the offense and hit open buckets.

Artest is an offensive free-lancer who's numbers dwindle during the playoffs and he still jacks up random shots, his career high in shooting % in playoffs is a 40.7. I love these outside situations you use to backup a bogus claim, it seriously makes me laugh.
