Terrible article. Half of those can't be overrated because they don't get praise as it is. Then the writer goes on to discount the player by saying that they're really good at this but not good at that, and apparently that is more important than this. Look at the KG and Westbrook explanations. He says KG's shit talking and cheap shots take away from his greatness, but they are what in part makes him great. I'm also not sure if he's trying to say that the current, old, near retirement KG is overrated(which is bullshit because he is still very good for his age) or if he has been overrated his entire career, which I will just laugh at. I'm not going to say he's better than Shaq or Duncan, but he never had teammates until he was in Boston and he has always been more athletic and versatile than the other two. Shaq was a back to the basket only player while KG could kill you by posting up or hitting a midrange jumper. Don't even get me started on Rondo being on that list. He uses Rondo's attitude as the basis for his claim, which is assanine. Furthermore Rondo is one of the most underrated players in the modern age.

ESPN NBA - Kobe Bryant asked Dwight Howard Wed. at team meeting if Howard disliked playing with him - LA Times Not sure to laugh more at the possibility of it being asked or the fact that it sounds like the kind of piece the LA Times would break

How would LAC be under the Triangle Offense?
Lkr replied to Sħãlïq™'s topic in Los Angeles Clippers Team Forum
Odom isn't the same player and Turiaf/Barnes aren't big offensive impact players. The team lacks a good passing big man and you wouldn't run it with Paul. -
Lol Stephen A had a c'mon son sign on first take today

Lakers strongly interested in Boobie Gilbson
Lkr replied to Sħãlïq™'s topic in Los Angeles Lakers Team Forum
Because he's a scrub is the answer we were looking for -
I don't understand why Kaep is being so overrated. He is a great player, don't get me wrong, but I don't see him as a better option than a healthy bob griffin

this team is such a pain in the ass to watch. no one gives a shit. dan tony won't be fired. buss is a [expletive]ing idiot for hiring him in the first place. i mean goddamn, who the hell would be under the impression that he is qualified to coach an NBA team? is it a coincidence that the suns and knicks both got better after he left? we know he can't out coach Pop, so he'd be of no use if we somehow made it to the playoffs. nash is worse on defense than every point guard the lakers have had for the past 15 years, including fisher's ghost. jordan hill being out for the season is a huge loss, but it isn't like dan tony utilizes him anyway. earl clark is a nice bright spot to an awful season. if we trade gasol, we might get some decent pieces, but who knows what we'd get in return. it is too late to somehow trade him for rondo. i mean what would we even want to trade gasol for? booby gibson? dwight has been [expletive]ing terrible, and should not be on the floor in the last minute of a game when it is close. i guess i got spoiled over the past few years with big men that could hit from the line 65-70% of the time. i don't know how the [expletive] you can be a professional basketball player when you are airbaling free throws. dwight has not proven to be more valuable than bynum, who hasn't played a single minute all [expletive]ing season. this is just a [expletive]ing joke. the morning i woke up to the text where the lakers were even giving dan tony an interview i just groaned. the fact that he was actually hired was awful. the guy can't handle the LA media. the guy can't deal with the pressure of fans who expect to win every night. i'm sure he is a decent person, but goddamn he is a [expletive]ing moron who can't coach a team outside of a box. you have an old, slow, big team, and you are not a defensive coach. you are not the right man for the job. warren could coach the team better by just telling them to play hard on defense and take their time and he'd reward them with some malt liquor after the game. the lakers aren't making the playoffs. we don't have a lottery pick because we traded it away. you know who got the worst of the dwight howard trade? the lakers did. the magic might be worse overall, but the lakers went from one of the top seeds in the west to the bottom of the western conference. the magic will have a couple of lottery picks in the upcoming draft. the lakers have none. this is not only the most disappointing team in the history of sports, but it is the worst lakers squad in at least the past 30 years. at least there were no expectations for the 2004-05 lakers after rudy stepped down as coach and kobe got injured. even before that, the expectations weren't that high; making the playoffs would have been an accomplishment when you look at that team. we all know this whole stupid saga started with shithead fuhrer stern vetoing the cp3 deal. we then had to give odom away for nothing. we got stuck with mike [expletive]ing brown. and you know what? for all of the bitching we did last season, it was still a better season than i expected it to be. then brown got fired after a few games. the best games this team had came with bickerstaff as the coach. and you know how we reward him? by hiring mike dan tony. look yourself in the mirror and you can't tell yourself that a prick like dan [expletive]ing tony is the coach of the lakers while keeping a straight face. so what comes next? dan tony gets paid more than the guy that scans the tickets at the gate, but is a worse coach than that guy. we know he isn't going to be fired, at least during the season. there is no more expecting things to be turned around for me. it has gone from that, to apathy, to just downright frustration, and now anger. i am [expletive]ing mad at the stupidity of jerry for putting jim in charge. jeannie is getting married to the best coach in the history of the nba, and jim won't cave to a few demands phil has(like taking a few road games off). i guess he'll pay for it when the lakers miss the playoffs and dwight walks in the offseason.
