  2. Don't worry, these renewed hopes are keeping me alive right now. BTW, I'll repost it so BNeal can understand Adrian Wojnarowski On renewed talks for nixed Chris Paul blockbuster: "All three teams are engaged," one source tells Y! Sports. "Not sure if it will work."

  4. and so it begins. only 1pm in LA, long day ahead of us for possible deals http://i.imgur.com/VeIAl.png
  5. Wasn't aware. Maybe Stern should just give the team to Demps
  6. This "small market" vs "big market" shit is just what it is: shit. Look at the NFL for example; who are the best teams in the NFL? Oh look, Green Bay, Pittsburgh, and Baltimore. What is so big market about those towns? Nothing really. However, they are the best run teams in the NFL by FAR. Let's look at the "big market" NBA teams: the Lakers, Celtics, Knicks, and Bulls. The Bulls had 15 years of relevancy. Before Jordan, they were nothing, and until Derrick Rose, they were poorly run. The Knicks just throw money around and haven't been able to build a team. The Celtics had a nice approximate 20 years of mediocrity. The Lakers are the only team that seems to be well run. Other teams in the NBA that I'd say have been well run over history are the Jazz, Blazers, and Thunder/Sonics. Those are all SMALL MARKET teams. Hell, by definition, the Clippers are big market, but they are worse than being classified as poorly run. So what seems to be going on in the league? The punishment of teams that are WELL RUN. Abovelegit nicely pointed out on twitter last night that Dan Gilbert had 7 years to build a winner around the most naturally talented and overall basketball player that the world has seen since Michael Jordan. The best he could do was throw together a team that got swept in the Finals. He has money, he has no reason to complain about being a small market. His arena was sold out every night with LeBron on the team. It seems the other owners are upset that the Buss family knows how to run a business and they do not. It is the NBA's version of Occupy Wall Street.
  7. I wouldn't mind getting Trevor Ariza if they "had" to throw him in. Hell, they could have Artest if they really wanted him
  8. to be honest, the Hornets have made GREAT strides under the leadership of Dell Demps (they added 10,000 season ticket holders). Unfortunately, the NBA [expletive]ed over the Hornets big time last night
  9. I love having an owner that has a son that according to a possible report cussed out Stern
  10. no one cares about LeBron's past, it is the Lakers that matter today!!!
  11. This trade [expletive]s over the Lakers in just about anyway imaginable. How are Pau and Odom going to act tomorrow IF they even go to camp? Odom was being quite a little baby about being traded.
