there is more to it. The mass media doesn't hype up every Liverpool/Man U game, because I have never seen one even covered in the US. UNC and Duke get a bit of hype, but they only play twice a year so sometimes it can be understood. i don't watch a lot of college basketball though

MLB Network had the Yanks/Sox on last night though At least they followed it with Angels/Twins though. MLB Network is by far the best of the pro sports networks though

actually, a lot of it is the devs fault for not fixing issues in the game. Of course, they aren't gonna do anything when millions of people are gonna spend $15 on maps

This is actually a really pressing issue. Since so many idiots actually got ripped off and paid the $15 for this map pack, in the future, Activision will probably charge $20-30 for it. And then we'll have no one to blame but MW2 players for the high price of DLC. At least Valve continues to release the best shooters and gives 20 times the amount of DLC other devs do, all for free

so my point stands that only people in those immediate areas really care about this rivalry. the rest of us really couldn't care, and we would rather watch something else on TV. FOX Saturday Baseball will be Yankees vs Red Sox, ESPN Sunday Night Baseball will be Yankees vs Red Sox and ESPN Monday Night Baseball will be Yankees vs Red Sox. Quite honestly, I think I should be shown more than those 2 teams, because I wish both teams just didn't exist, primarily because of the national media attention they always get when there are other things going on.

no one cares about Yankees/Red Sox unless you live in the northeast. seriously. outside of that area, no one really gives two [expletive]s. ESPN would like you to believe otherwise, but it really isn't true. At least some NFL rivalries like Colts-Patriots is entertaining for everyone to watch that is a football fan. Especially because they don't play 50 times every season. I won't put Duke/UNC over this rivalry though.
