For me, its the Lakers vs Kings. 4 times during the regular season and usually meeting in the playoffs made this the league's premiere rivalry for the first 4 years of the decade. I don't think anything has come close to it in the second half of the decade.

Obviously I'm talking about his prime here. When you look at Kobe, he has been challenged by Bruce Bowen, Raja Bell, Dwyane Wade, LeBron James, Shane Battier, Carmelo Anthony, and more. Shaq was so dominant, that you couldn't even mention a guy with his name. There was no debate whether anyone was better than Shaq. You can make an argument that LeBron is better than Kobe, but there was never an argument of anyone being better than Shaq.
