Really, it is being punished and it has to do with socialism. My mom worked several jobs while going to school for a degree from DePaul and she was far from rich. Instead of slacking like others, she worked in school non stop and worked several jobs to pay for tuition. Why? Because she wanted to provide for a family. She didn't slack like others. In a socialist state, she would be taxed higher to help those who slacked. How is that fair to her AT ALL? Why should slackers be REWARDED? Anyone that wants to succeed can. They just have to put their priorities straight and quit slacking off.

The New Deal can be argued as a failure. It would have done nothing without WW2. WW2 put people back to work not only by serving in the military but by starting up factories again to produce and create revenue by selling to other allied powers. The New Deal benefited from the war, not vice versa.

Typical mistake, they don't want to be seen as evil! North Korea is ran by the Workers Party of Korea, a socialist party. Stalinism is a form of socialism. Stalin was an extreme ruler, so that must mean he nor his policies were not socialist.
