David Stern to Jim Rome "Do you still beat your wife?"

it isn't a good response from the commissioner of the NBA, especially when this issue is actually somewhat serious -

Remember when Stern got owned at the all star break? he also gets owned several times if you watch Sonicsgate. The guy is easily the worst commissioner, at least Selig and Goodell will talk to the media -

too much bitching about the Heat offense, the real problem was the defense, and the lack of it. OKC started playing defense in the third quarter, got into transition, and outran the Heat. OKC didn't have to play a lot of half court sets in the second half. Miami can't slow them down and probably doesn't want to, because they want to run as well. However, you can't outscore the Thunder, it just won't happen unless the Thunder shoot 30% from the field(which isn't likely, especially when they had no trouble getting to the basket against Miami)

their long rest didn't hurt them against the Lakers or SA(they weren't blown out in game 1)

when i saw the headline for the story and typed it, no lie, i thought to myself, "are they interviewing Haslem or Shaliq?"

Rumours of a haunting in the hotel persist, and have even been cited by NBA teams, notably in 2010 when the New York Knicks famously blamed their loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder on the haunting and when the Chicago Bulls reported doors slamming shut on their own and strange sounds outside their rooms. [4][5][6] oh man if the heat lose tonight, i hope someone asks lebron and wade about this

that place actually looks dope. we could have the meetup there

Perkins was the reason the Celtics didn't win in 2010

Fisher begs to differ with more rings than all of them combined

Thunder would just play small in that case because the Heat would lose Bosh. They could have YNB/Sef/Harden/Durant/Perk out there

this would make no sense unless they sign both garnett and duncan -

i will cry if he lives up to his name

no doubt they'll get fouls, but the Thunder do have a bit of depth at the big man position and can also matchup with a small lineup. just saying that one dive into Perkins and Wade might have to reevaluate his philosophy for the rest of the series. he doesn't always look like the toughest player out there if you know what i mean
-
you'd better buy it. they shut down duncan, gasol, and bynum without even trying. shots at the rim were laughable. Wade isn't going to get by Sefolosha as easily as he got around Ray Ray and LeBron can't just walk in a slow motion around Durant like he can do with Pierce who can't move anymore
-
The problem isn't their interior offense, it is the interior defense. If Wade can't get to the rim, you're better off having Mario Chalmers shoot. The Thunder's interior defense is a lot like Perkins/Garnett in 08 except Ibaka is a lot more athletic than Garnett was in 08
-
But will we be saying the same thing about Bosh when he gets two shots blocked by Ibaka in the first quarter of game 1?

I don't see why KG at least wouldn't take a paycut for Boston. I don't think he is going to get a crazy contract and the teams that could sign him for a good amount really don't have a big need for him.
