  1. Fasano had 4 of his 7 TD's last year in December and 142 of his yards which was the 2nd most in any of his months. Not sure where your going with this. Fail at trying to use a tight end to compare to a QB in terms of impacting the game and winning.
  2. Quintin Mikell S, Eagles Sheldon Brown CB, Eagles Fred Robbins DT, Giants Aaron Smith DE, Steelers Ryan Clady T, Broncos
  3. McNabb was 28 years old at the time. Romo is 29 years old right now. Not my fault Romo couldn't even get on the field until he was like 26. Romo had the advantage of coming in relatively unknown and teams didn't know what to expect, but McNabb had a giant bullseye on his head as his Eagles were in the NFC Championship game 3 years in a row prior to that year. Romo will never put up those numbers. I'm pretty confident in that fact. And scrambling is a great play when you have guys like James Thrash and Todd Pinkston who are unable to get open at all and you got to create a play on your own. Obviously with TO and Witten it's going to be a little easier to find a nice target.
  4. McNabb with TO 3,875 Yards, 31 TD, 8 INT, 104.7 QB Rating in his only season with TO. And a trip to the Superbowl. Only QB to throw for more than 30 TD's and less than 10 picks in a season at the time. It overshadows any year Romo has had. Now that Desean is becoming a pro-bowl reciever as well it should help Donovan once again. And lol @ comparing Romo's scrambling ability to the McNabb of 00-04. Too bad McNabb actually wins though. I guess that 5 points is making a nice difference. Other than guys on the Patriots dynasty teams nobody has played more playoff games than McNabb's Eagles among active teams. McNabb has a nice 9 wins in the playoffs. 9 more than Romo has.
  5. So what do you hope to accomplish by bringing McNabb into this argument? That Romo is a better QB than McNabb all-time? Is that really your intention? QB Rating doesn't take into account all the plays McNabb made as a scrambler in his younger days. It does take into account his terrible recievers he had for most of his career before he had TO and before he got Desean. Romo has had the luxury of the best WR of this decade on his team for all 3 of his years. In his first two games this year without him his QB Rating was 82(lower than McNabbs). You think Romo is a better QB than McNabb all-time? Alright post your reasons so I can own them. Nice attempt at being funny foreskin fan.
  6. Tony Homo Absolutely crumbles under pressure and he doesn't take the game seriously.
  7. Eastern Conference 1. Cleveland Cavaliers 2. Boston Celtics 3. Orlando Magic 4. Atlanta Hawks 5. Philadelphia 76ers 6. Washington Wizards 7. Miami Heat 8. Toronto Raptors Could easily see the Bulls getting in over either team 4-8 as well. Western Confrence 1. Los Angeles Lakers 2. San Antonio Spurs 3. Denver Nuggets 4. Dallas Mavericks 5. Portland Trailblazers 6. New Orleans Hornets 7. Phoenix Suns 8. Utah Jazz West is a lot easier to predict as far as which 8 teams.
  8. Congrats on the 22-10 record over the last two seasons. How many playoff games did that amazing record allow you to win? The Cowboys are a weak minded team and last year they were a mediocre 9-7 while missing the playoffs and absolutely got analed in a game that would make or break their season literally. 44-6 was the score of that game and it was absolute anal rape. Go have fun using your regular season record of 13-3 to make your team sound better than they are, but they still suck. Where did I mention the Eagles? I didn't mention them in my initial post for a reason. lol @ people bringing the Eagles into the conversation because they are butthurt I told them their team sucked.
  9. There is a very small number of quality white americans in the NBA in this era. Do you guys think there's ever a chance of seeing a 6'8 guy white American like Larry Bird dominate the NBA the way he did or become a perenniel all-star? I really don't think so and think that Dirk is the closest thing we will ever see to another Bird. The game has players that are so much more athletic too now so I don't know if it can happen. Look at how Adam Morrison's career went.
  10. The Giants beat the Bucs, the cowboys, and the redskins. Let's see them play a game against a team that's actually good before we crown them as dominant. The Jets look amazing though right now and have had some quality wins this year. The Saints, and Ravens are also looking really good so far as well.
  11. Nice game by the Raiders. They got owned by Correll Buckhalter and their defense was pitiful too. I wish I could see some Broncos games. I really want to see how Dawk is doing.
  12. Yeah I love Brent Celek. I saw a guy in a Celek jersey today and I told him he was the man. First time I saw it and props to that mofo. He is killing it for me in fantasy. When he scored that TD at the end I was way more happy than I should've been lol.
  13. Not gonna lie, Kolb looked really good today. It was against the Chiefs though so I'm not sure how much plays into that. Something to think about would be if what the organization saw of Kolb effects Donovan's future with the team and if it makes his departure come sooner rather than later. I wouldn't say it effects it at all, but who knows what Andy is thinking.
  14. Year You Became a Fan:2001 was when I really got into it. Why You Became a Fan: Lots of hype about the team in the local area and I liked basketball. Favorite 76ers Player, All-Time: Allen Iverson Favorite 76ers Coach, All-Time: Larry Brown Favorite 76ers Moment: Owning the Lakers in Game 1 of the Finals in 2001 and basically that playoff run in general. Runner up is Thaddeus's left handed lay-up over Dwight in Game 3 of this past year. Amount of 76ers Games Attended:Been going to 10+ a year for the past few years. I'd guess about 50 now.
  15. I was at the game and it was funny when Vick initially came in and everyone cheered crazy. Then Kolb puts his hands down in an effort to keep the noise down haha. Vick didn't really do much at all though for his debut. I kind of expected a little more. Great game by the Birds. Especially the future. They had Maclin and Desean at WR. McCoy at RB. Kolb at QB. And Celek at TE who is an absolute tank. It was a nice way to see the future of the team perform well today. Defense was amazing too and looked just about as good as the D that owned Delhomme except they didn't get as many Turnovers today. It was good to see them put it away early and keep the pressure off Kolb.
  16. And people wonder why people laugh in the Lakers threads when they lose. BTW might want to get your facts straight next time. Philly didn't have a losing season last year. Owned
  17. Good he was terrible. Man the season is already just about here. Can't really believe it. Just one week!
  18. It's because Romo has had a ton of talent on his Cowboys team, yet still fails on leading them to wins deep in the year. It's because Romo has been such a good QB early in the season, but completely sucks in December/in the playoffs. I would attribute this to the rumors of Romo's poor offseason conditioning and not coming to camp in shape to last an entire NFL season. How about the year his Cowboys team went 13-3, yet still won 0 playoff games that year and were owned. Guy's like Aaron Rodgers have never had the talent on their team the way Romo has. That's why Romo is a choker and far from a top 5 QB.
  19. He isn't going to jail is he? West is one of the Cav's few youg role players that actually steps up and is solid for them every night. It would be a big loss to lose him. Anthony Parker is nowhere near the impact player that Delonte is IMO.
  20. What did you have to interview them about haha
