  1. They should bench Moyer for a bit to let Pedro have a shot as the starter. If Pedro performs keep him there. If he sucks there's always Moyer to fall back on. That's how I would solve the pitching fiasco.
  2. Should be suspended longer. We don't need any players with marble sized balls tainting this league and this sport.
  3. Game 3 of the 2009 Playoffs this past year, Sixers-Magic. Thaddeus gets the left handed lay-up to win the game over Dwight. Man I was so happy and the owning the Magic fans got was unbelievable.
  4. Lots of haters on this site to even think about picking Kevin Durant over LeBron. Wow
  5. I hear this crap every year. The East didn't get stronger. Not every team is going to improve which is what every fan thinks their team will do. Some teams will do better, but just as many will do worse. I think Cleveland will have a similar record at home this year. Undefeated is just insane, but around the area of 37-39 wins sounds pretty accurate.
  6. Man I liked Ivey. He was pretty solid on the defensive end and could knock down the open three. He isn't going to make or break a season, but he's a nice guy to have off the bench in certain situations. I was kind of hoping Holiday would just take his minutes though since the guy is supposedly a lock-down defender.
  7. What's with the Sixers talking to guys that most likey won't contribute whatsoever? Eh I guess someones going to have to replace Ratliff, Marshall, and Ivey. Those guys all helped the team at least and had their moments though.
  8. Wachovia Center(Sixers-Flyers) Wachovia Spectrum(Sixers-Flyers) Lincoln Financial Field(Eagles) Citizens Bank Park(Phillies) Yankee Stadium(Yankees) I've walked by the FedEx Field(Redskins, and the Ravens, Orioles stadiums, but never was there for a game so doesn't count lol. I really want to go to MSG to see Flyers-Rangers or Sixers-Knicks though. That would be really cool.
  9. Man I love that the NBA season starts Oct 27th this year, that's the earliest it's started in a long time. Can't wait for Cavs-Celtics and Cavs-Lakers
  10. Holy crap didn't realize they released the schedules Orlando and NJ will be cool and I hope NJ owns those [expletive]ers. Courtney Lee for Vince Carter is going to end up being a very bad trade for the Magic down the road. As a Sixer fan I will look forward to thumping the Nets 4 times this year
  11. Not much I have a picture of Bobby Jones that I got signed by him when I met him, and a pic of the 2001 Philadelphia Eagles signed by Mike Bartrum and David Akers.
  12. We need to go for Bruce Bowen he would be a great player to have come off the bench. GET IT DONE!!!!!
  13. Who hates Pujols? I don't see how anyone could hate him either. The other three guys are hated because they took steroids and are just all-around douschebags. But your right noone hates Ken Griffey Jr. His game on N64 was awesome too. I never bought it, but I must've rented it about 5 times looool
  14. Pujols isn't a phony person and is a genuine good guy. He routinely tells people don't be afraid to believe in me regarding his use of steroids. The girl he married has a kid with down syndrome, and he could've had a lot of sexy women to choose from. Pujols is a great person and a legit player. I am positive he doesn't take steroids
  15. Yeah Adrian Peterson got his [expletive] stuffed. Reminds me of when Brian Dawkins absolutely owned him in the playoffs. Chester Taylor too
  16. Dude gtfo JAYSON Werth(tired of seeing Jason) would not be first or second in strikeouts. In 18 games against your precious AL East Jayson Werth batted exactly .300 going 21-70 with an average of .8 Strikeouts per game. So his batting average improved and his Strikeouts per game stayed about the same against the AL. Considering the SO leaders average about 1.4 strikeouts per game and Jayson is pretty consistant with the .8-1 strikeouts per game there's no way he leads the league in K's. Bullllll
  17. You mad Phillies got Cliff Lee for nothing and are now the unanimous favorites in the NL while the Mets are below .500?
  18. http://photos-f.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc1/hs150.snc1/5570_109752077633_701702633_2365757_2240365_n.jpg What is your favorite memory of Jim Johnson throughout the years? I can't make up my mind so I'll toss some out there. -Owning Mike Vick and the Falcons in the 2004 NFC Championship game. I remember hearing about how Vick was going to run all over our defense and Jim Johnson cut off his scrambling with Burgess and Kearse. Vick went through hell that game. And when the Eagles won Jim Johnson said "this is the best day of my life". - In 2005 Owning Prime LT and holding him to the worst game of his career. - Owning the eventual Superbowl Champions Steelers this year knocking Big BEn on his [expletive] countless times. post your memories Eagles fans.
  19. Moves like these are why Charlotte has never had a winning season in franchise history and why they have never made the playoffs.
  20. I was pissed I missed it. I heard it's on Saturday night at 2 am though in case anyone missed it. Funny stuff though, you can't imagine too many big name athletes doing this kind of thing.
  21. Javale Mcgree = Andre's [expletive] Here's some more pics Iggy with a really tall army dude http://photos-e.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc1/hs170.snc1/6373_109057603462_8245623462_2233508_8067355_n.jpg Here's some pics of Thad from the scrimmage http://photos-f.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc1/hs170.snc1/6373_109057678462_8245623462_2233517_6959233_n.jpg http://photos-a.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc1/hs170.snc1/6373_109057693462_8245623462_2233520_1534954_n.jpg
  22. Erik Blasco basically said what I was thinking especially with KG. On offense he has become mostly a jump shooter and his rebounding has slipped big time this past year. He is a choker who is incapable of leading a team in crucial stretches. It happened in Minnesota with Sam Cassell and it's happened in Boston with Pierce/Ray Allen. And Chris Paul is assumed as the perfect point guard although he's far from that. He is more dependable on pick and roll's than Steve Nash and lacks the size against some of the bigger point guards such as Deron Williams who owns him in head to head matchups on a consistant basis. Bosh sucks on Defense, isn't much of a rebounder, and is a soft player overall.
  23. RIP.. Jim Johnson is the man and will always be the man. Prayers to his wife, kids, and grandchildren.
  24. Agreed with all of them. Their all overrated players.
  25. We got a lot of unhealthy mofos in here lol
