  1. Celtics won't do this, their not retarded. Yi is the biggest puss in the league while Big Baby is a guy that can come in and contribute.
  2. Powe would be a great player for the Cavs in the playoffs. IMO he's better than Varejao and is a really underrated player. Too bad he had that injury; it really is a shame...
  3. No way is Gooden better than Gortat. He is trash on defense and Gortat has just as much touch around the basket as he does. Gortat is a way better defender too. WAY better. There's a reason team's were lining up for Gortat and Gooden was signed just now.
  4. http://www.philly.com/philly/blogs/inq-eagles/McNabb_cautious_about_roster_talent.html He owns TO
  5. Flip is a play ground legend in Philly and not a terrible player hence he was able to average 12 PPG on a 2nd round team last year. However I'm thinking this dude is another Willie Green and I'm not sure if I'd want him.
  6. Ron Artest is a retard and if the Lakers lose Odom they didn't get better this offseason. He is still an idiot and has lost noticable quickness. He's still a nice player to have, but not as good as advertised.
  7. Yeah I bought the Alonzo Mourning book "Resilience" a few months ago and read it. Great book on his comeback to the NBA and how much crap he had to go through. I havn't read a book in a while, but reading is a pretty fun thing to do as long as it isn't a lame book like the ones they make you read in school. I was into Stephen King books for a phase haha.
  8. Even though I absolutely hated Big Ben as a Piston it'll be nice to see him retire there where he left his mark on the game.
  9. Boozer is better than Lee in every way possible except effort. Boozer is ten times the low post scorer David Lee will ever be, and his jumpshot is better. Both are pretty good rebounders that arn't too good defensively, but Boozer's offensive production makes him a star. He isn't Zach Randolph on defense either. And Warrick is just ehhh. Odom is a player that contributed to a championship and although he's inconsistant I don't think LA wins it without him. There's about no chance LeBron comes to Miami next year and with Wade's future becoming a bigger and bigger question mark by the day the Heat need to put a better team around him now to get him to stay. The best possible scenario would be signing Chris Bosh next year and I think Boozer/Odom is better than Bosh.
  10. Yo Ashoo u mad philly fans would dismantle the laker fans and use their jersey to wipe their [expletive]?
  11. GO TO SOUTH BEACH LAMAR! I'm hoping it goes down and he signs for the MLE. I don't want to see the Lakers get anything in return for him.
  12. lol wow dude is on crack, he's acting like a real idiot. And he's been doing this for days too apparantly?
  13. Hey [expletive], how about we hear some evidence to back this up? And please don't bring some bullcrap from the Vet that happened many years ago up because the Vet isn't running anymore. Philly fans are the most passionate and you got to respect them for that. Every team with a decent following has some idiot that does this from time to time anyway.
  14. Look at all the contending teams Lakers: Gasol Magic: Dwight Howard Celtics: KG Spurs: Duncan Cavs: Shaq Of the top 5 teams in the league three of them contain first hallot hall of fame bigmen and Dwight will most likely be in there too and Gasol has a chance if he keeps his play up. Perimeter play is important too, but having a dominant bigman is always the number one priority.
  15. Oh do you mean this Santonio Holmes? http://img253.imageshack.us/img253/1343/holmes.png
  16. It wasn't that predictable of an upset. Golden state had Dallas's number in the regular season and it was clear the team didn't match up well with them and Don Nelson knew how to own Avery Johnson clearly outcoaching the guy that succeeded him in Dallas. The same thing happened to Dallas that happened to them the year before. They got owned by a combo guard that they couldn't guard. And I like how whenever the Mavs lose it's always "Dirk choking", but when they win he doesn't get any credit. So did Dirk choke against the Nuggets too this year in which he averaged 34.4 PPG, 11.6 RPG, 4.0 APG on 54% shooting?
  17. What a [expletive], we could give him more in the sign and trade and he'd at least let us get something in return. He is getting booed
  18. Oh the Red Sox have a lot of bandwagoners too. Where did I say otherwise? They don't have as many as the Yankees though and the fans from Boston are huge fans, one of the best in sports. This is about Yankees and Met's fans though so I don't see why your bringing up the Sox fans.
  19. http://www.philly.com/dailynews/sports/20090724_Sixers_withdraw_offer_to_Andre_Miller__Theo_Ratliff_signs_1-year_deal_with_Spurs.html Well looks like there's no chance of him coming back now. I'm still hoping for a sign and trade with Portland for Steve Blake. Doesn't look like he's going to NY either since they are in talks with Ramon Sessions. Article also says the Sixers are watching Troy Hudson work out as well as expressing great interest in former GS guard CJ Watson. Damn Stefanski has to get loooking at some impact players.
  20. Never said he sucked. It's just a joke to put Helton in a class with Ruth, Gehrig, etc. He isn't even in a league with the best stars of today's game. Guys like Pujols and A-Rod win SilverSluggers, Gold Gloves, MVPs. and dominate no matter what park they play in. You can't say the same about "Todd Helton" lmao
  21. December 2008 1,115 videos watched I have another account too August 2006 4,023 videos watched
  22. Bynum averaged 6 PPG and 3 RPG in the playoffs kingfish. The guy hasn't proven he can play consistant basketball for a timeframe longer than a week. Gasol is good, but not as good as Dwight or KG. Perkins is better than Bynum as well. There's no way the Lakers frontcourt is better than the Celtics or Magic.
  23. LOL OWNED!!!! That is a huge difference wow. I had no idea the park had that much of an impact. Putting Helton in a class of players like that is absolute horse [expletive]. Isn't even batting .300 in his career on the road.
  24. I always believed that the 3 spot was included in the frontcourt definition wise? I think Bench players should be taken into consideration as well. Boston's is probably the best in the league with KG, Perkins, Sheed, and then Big Baby/Leon Powe if they decide to bring those guys back. Orlando will be beastly with Howard/Gortat/Bass/Shard. The best is between those two teams. If your including the 3 spot as well Cleveland has got to be in there as well.
  25. http://img197.imageshack.us/img197/7267/retardontheloose.jpg How many times do you see a guy preserve a perfect game by catching that HR ball AND in the 9th inning? It was a great play in the circumstances and truly capped off a historic day. Appreciate what happened today
