Sammy D sucked penis today and did just about nothing meaningful when he was on the court. On the bright side Mareese Speights and Elton Brand looked awesome although Speights still needs to work on his D as he got abused by Brook Lopez several times. Also Jason Kapono brings a dimension to this team they desperately needed. The Sixers never had a shooter of his caliber to stretch the defense and I love what he brings. Amazing trade to get him in here. Iggy didn't look so hot honestly and was very sloppy handling the basketball. He had some clutch plays to bring the team back in the 4th though getting to the line and that sick jumper And1 on the Sixers 2nd to last possession. Elton Brand hit the game winning jumper with 7 seconds remaining to win it too!! Game was insane for a preseason game. I can't believe I lost my voice at a Sixers preseason game lol. And I met Stefanski at the game when I got my gameplan. The sales guy I met with brought me to the Hall of Fame lounge and it was full of Sixers executives and free delicious deserts. Was pretty cool.

Sixers win first preseason game over Raptors

Elton Brand had an awesome offensive rebound yesterday followed by the old school Shaq Dunk. His explosiveness seems to be there so that's a good sign. -
Rodgers got all those yards because the Packers were forced to throw on every play since they wre playing from behind. Just look at their run/pass ratio. And it isn't the sole indicator, but a team that goes 2-14 the year before is bound to be worse than a team that went 12-4. It can give you an idea. Minnesota is a good team, but when you post things like "WHO SAYS BRETT FAVRE CANT WIN A SUPERBOWL" you are asking for it and I would bet you Minnesota doesn't win the superbowl. Not when it takes pure luck to beat crappy teams like the 49ers. Noone is scared of them. Their offense is attrocious without Frank Gore. Their best weapon is probably Vernon Davis LOL. And it's actually 8.3 inches. The Arizona Cardinals of 2009 thus far are far different than the team that got hot in the playoffs last year and was a Santonio Holmes pass short of winning a superbowl. Horrible example. And the Eagles > the Vikings without the injuries so I don't know whhy your using that to support your argument. You are lucky San Francisco isn't on the Eagles schedule this year. I will miss that automatic win.

1. Tim Duncan 2. Kobe Bryant 3. Shaq 4. KG 5. LeBron James 6. Dirk Nowitzki 7. Allen Iverson 8. Dwyane Wade 9. Jason Kidd 10.Tracy McGrady That's my list using those players. I would probably put Steve Nash on that list over T-Mac though.

If by watch, you mean look at the box score, then yes. -
Heat's Michael Beasley likely to start at small forward
Diesel replied to Warren2ThaG's topic in Miami Heat Team Forum
That's great to hear Beas coming into his own. I'm not expecting the breakout season I initially was with his rehab saga, but we should see some real improvements out of him.....I hope. -
Lou seemed really impressive in the game from what I can see. That's a great sign of things to come. Iggy seemed to do a good amount in limited minutes and most importantly it was playing the two spot next to Thad. We're really going to need Iggy to come out strong as a two-guard and not struggle like he did at the beginning of last year.

10 best individual statistics seasons of the last decade
Diesel replied to Diesel's topic in General NBA Discussion
Ok I think this list needs Iverson. His numbers in 05-06 were pretty damn good 33.0 PPG 7.4 APG 44.7 FG% 32.3 3PT% 1.9 SPG -
Oh please there were some bs calls the Capitals got too. What about Powe's tripping in the first period. He was on the ground and just trying to get up and unfrotunately him and another guy got tangled up. BS call. Or when Betts got tripped which caused him to injure his knee. No call there. The refs didn't hand this game to anybody.

LOOOOOOOOOOOL That is a good one. 49ers > Eagles now. If your going to bring my team into the topic at least don't post crap like this. That is embarassing for the Eagles to be compared to that crappy team. An explosive offense gives the QB time to make a throw. Pretty hard to do when you got Jared Allen already coming straight at you once you catch the ball. A traffic cone could've done a better job blocking. That the Vikings wins have been against teams that finished below .500 last season and none of their wins have been impressive. Got lucky against a bad 49ers team and are overrated. And no the 49ers arn't good without Frank Gore. Letting that offense score on you is a slap in the face in itself.

Saints Broncos AFC Even though teams like the Pats, Steelers, Ravens arn't undefeated they are definitely going to be there in January and are among the elite teams of the leagues. Well assuming Pittsburgh gets back Polamalu and he is healthy.' The Saints defense has been great at creating turnovers this year and when Drew Brees gets good field position you mind as well bend over and prepare the lube.

Minnesota Vikings, nfls worst undefeated team?
Diesel replied to reno's topic in NFC Conference Discussion
Broncos > Dallas. If the Broncos arn't good that means Dallas blows dong. And here's how I'd rank them. 1. Saints 2. Colts 3. Giants 4. Vikings 5. Broncos again as of now. It's no question the Saints have been the most impressive through the first 4 weeks. Their defense is tops in INTs, and near the top in sacks. -
Like I said, because they suck. Pretty hard to get some conversions with Shaun Hill and Glen Coffee as your main weapons.
-
An explosive offense? They have a good QB and recievers, but what else? If you can't protect that QB it doesn't matter. Their offensive line is pathetic and has let up the most sacks in the league. Their Running game is incredibly inconsistant. With Clifton out it was even worse and I didn't even need to watch this game to be able to tell who would win. And San Francisco sucks. Their D is solid, but definetly not elite. Without Frank Gore they have nothing on offense. Wanna bet they don't win a playoff game?
-
Not at all, they got outplayed by the crappy 49ers. A team whose best offensive weapons consist of Shaun Hill, Glen Coffee, Joe Morgan outplayed them. The Vikings won the game because of a lucky play, but they were outplayed and I can't wait to see them get owned when they play a respectable team.
-
Who did you guys beat? A Packers team with a [expletive] offensive line? My grandma would've got a sack on those guys. Enjoy the crappy teams
-
As a Sixer fan I would definetly love to trade for Redd. I'm not sure what pieces we have that the Bucks would like. Philly definetly isn't giving up Thaddeus though and I'm not sure which large contract on the team Milwaukee would have any interest in. Oh poopy <_<

So you don't think Adrian Peterson is a top 5 RB? Name 5 better. He is clearly the best. That fumble was great though. Peterson got OWNED, big time. Almost as bad as the playoffs last year when Dawkins destroyed him and Chester Taylor.
