  4. That's the worse part about it, so much of Adelmans offense flows through these guys. Brooks just needs to find some consistency, that injury has made him lose all rhythm in his game. The last time he really looked like AB was against the Wizards where he became a fourth quarter closer that night for the Rockets. T Wolves offered Flynn and Rockets denied, but I am sure he would be involved in a package if it was the right one. Agreed, said something similar in the last post those two on the court together is pathetic defensively. Plus teams double team Scola now and he has trouble getting out of that situation. The thing about Lowry is he finds other ways to contribute which makes him so valuable. He is a pass first guard so I like the fact that he understands he can't shoot a lick but at times he is left so open that it's sadly the best option. He's a ball of energy some nights, and a very mediocre point guard other nights. Lee can't take over a game but he's a real spark for the Rockets. Maybe it's time the Rockets look to use T Will for a similar role. Great point. Kevin wont create for others because he can't, it's always the others creating for him which ends up being a huge problem down the stretch. That's where they miss a guy who can do a little bit of everything, survey the court and decide what needs to be done. Kevin Martin just doesn't draw that type of attention and he doesn't play like a star who wants the ball in his hands down the stretch. Depends how you look at it. Clearly this team is missing a superstar and until they somehow acquire one mediocrity will be a huge problem. They have decisions to make at the deadline and during free agency. The biggest positive is knowing that the Tmac+Yao era has officially come to a close and that's not a mysterious factor anymore.

  12. You shouldn't hate to say it because it's the truth. I like Rick and his resume speaks volumes, but this year he has made some very questionable calls with key players. When he gets it right it's awesome but when he gets it wrong it costs the Rockets the game. It makes no sense to leave Scola and Miller out on the court together for that long. It's just not a realistic combo especially when Miller isn't making the three on the offensive end. It's not worth the trade off at all. The Rockets have so many one way players that are good at doing specific things, outside of Courtney Lee and possibly now Patrick Patterson who hasn't played much who else plays both ends consistently. Lowry- good defender, hustles, but who knows what he will do on the offensive end on any given night. Martin- Offense no D Battier- Defense no offense Scola- Offense horrible defense Miller- Hit or miss offense now and zero defense Hill- A mystery to say the least....raw Ish- Dish and penetrate but leaving him open for a jump shot is wise, and nothing great on D. Bud- Offensive machine when he can get it going, no defense. Lee- Plays both ends really well IMO and consistent when doing it. Brooks- Offense no defense Hayes- Hats off to the guy hes worked on his offense and had some nice games this season, hes worked on his free throw shooting, and he is not valued until he's gone and the Rockets feel the punch right now. Richness in depth but very one dimensional and when the shot isn't falling what do the Rockets do they crumble into pieces. The Rockets will have to make trades it's obvious, getting someone they actually want (a legit star) and not these little "accessories" to the puzzle seems nearly impossible.
  13. What a dumb schedule! The Rockets travel all the way to Boston next and then fly back to Houston lol.
  14. No one really expected the Rockets to hold onto the lead right :glasses: I think Brad Miller and Luis Scola may be the worse defensive combination in the NBA. Soft as hell, Brad can use an excuse he's old and slow. As far as Luis Scola goes his defense has hit an all time low, it's pathetic what he let Milsap do in OT. 3-25 from three point land 12%. Rockets are lucky they caught the Jazz on a bad night particularly for Deron, both teams played like [expletive] and Milsap cleaned up the [expletive] in OT and told everyone in the building to just go home.
  15. ^ Rush Hour never gets old. http://i297.photobucket.com/albums/mm233/lebronze23/terminal.jpg The Terminal 8/10 I think this movie is highly underrated. The ending is what really limits the movies greatness but Tom Hanks is one of the few actors that can keep you entertained in a very simplistic setting. Like Cast Away, Tom Hanks plays Viktor Navorski a man on his first trip to America. Like any normal tourist he is looking for "the Nike shoes and Broadway musicals in the big apple." Instead he gets stuck because his country is under a milatary coup and he is basically a resident of nowhere. He is as they say "unacceptable" so until all that is squared away he is in the friendly confines of the International Transit Lounge at JFK. Terminals are nice now days for a while, but hell eventually you want to get on your next flight and go home. Hanks owns the role and Stanley Tucci plays the villain trying to catch Hanks commit a crime by stepping out into the city. Instead he makes friends in the terminal and basically that becomes his home. Great movie directed by Steven Spielberg, lighthearted enjoyment.
  16. one can only hope you are right.

  19. Editing Print & Digital Media Electronic News Information & Comm Tech I (online) Intermediate Spanish 2 Script & Film Writing Not a bad schedule, no class on Friday and I am almost done with school. This is the fun part where you actually get to be active in your major. I am a Broadcast Journalism major, very excited about my Electronic News class. The professor is also an anchor for local news here, so I know some field work will be involved. Can't stand Spanish just need to get a C+ somehow and pass it, I am shooting for the bare minimum in that class I hate it.
  20. LOL he seems like a chucker oh man I hope it's not the whole Ariza thing all over again.

  21. How many times has Brad Miller been owned this year? He is so pathetic on defense it's literally the worst. Patrick Patterson only bright spot. This month sucks for the Rockets they will quickly lose control if they don't start going crazy on offense, because clearly defense does not exist. Also JVG kept me into the rest of this game he consistenly shows love to the Rockets lol no matter how bad they are getting their [expletive] kicked.
  22. Good ball movement by the Magic. Rockets look flat as hell.
  23. Both teams come out hot. Good D by Hill on Howard so far this half.
