It doesn't piss me off, but I do think it's ridiculous to hate on your local teams if you have lived in the area for a long period of time.

Kareem Jackson sucks.... Texans will get lit up all season if they keep "believing" in Jackson. What a pathetic performance from the Texans not much passion out on the field and the fans can see it since they boo'ed them into the locker room at the half.

Wow what an amazing second half. Most fun I have ever seen at a preseason game, some crazy alley oops. Chase Budinger goes flying. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e1ksYg-LwME

Pretty much agree with the preview. Rockets played hard last season and basically ran out of gas, but they really have gotten deeper this season and have some very nice pieces. Depending on how well they mesh and the injury bug being kind to Houston, this team could be a threat in the West. Ariza will be missed on the defensive end, but I finally watched both pre-season games the Rockets have played and noticed how athletic and fast Courtney Lee really is. For the price Lee is worth the time, he gets to the basket fast and controls his body movement far better than Ariza, and shows the potential on defense. Ariza was a solid defender, but I think Lee will be able to fill his shoes and have a really good season. Hopefully the Rockets can stay healthy and utilize all the options they have. http://realgm.com/src_feature_pieces/971/20101009/2010_11_season_preview_houston_rockets/#ixzz11twaPNJH

Nothing crazy I am not making a big deal over it... like I said I think it's cool they even showed the footage of the game because that was the first time I saw it. As far as taking shots at Obama outside of this video well lol... it's what they do and they get great ratings for it. I think Fox News is a joke personally but as STAT said that's why I don't watch it.

Lol true this is such a random thing to air. But hey its Faux News they represent the Republican pedestal...so taking subtle shots at Obama is the norm. Lots of times they are not so subtle either. I think it's cool they showed some footage on it though, I used to be a huge NBA Jam fan and this looks fun. 2k11 has gotten so realistic that this would be a nice counter to just having some fun with NBA players and politicians.

Since I got NetFlix I hardly ever go now, to much content to catch up on. But when a really good one comes out, and it has consistent reviews that's when I think it's worth paying money to watch. Last couple I have seen are Inception and The Town both worth the time and money.

Great movie, not a fan of Affleck the actor but Affleck the director is just beasting so far. I really enjoyed Gone Baby Gone Afflecks directorial debut, but this one is just on point. It's so good that even Affleck is tolerable in the lead role, the story is really interesting and the action/crime scenes are pretty raw.

Mavs coach Rick Carlisle collapses at practice

Doesn't look 51 at all. Hope he's alright. I saw a new piece on how stressful being a coach really is, proven to shorten your life span significantly. -
Good choices from everyone, I have a few. 1. Space Jam - MJ and cartoons no better combo, I watched this so many times as a kid, the soundtrack is pretty sick also. 2. Hoosiers - Classic story. 3. He Got Game - Surprised by Ray Allens performance, Denzel is one of my favorite actors of all time. 4. Finding Forrester - Great story, excellent direction and script. Sean Connery and Rob Brown make a great duo in this one. 5. The Basketball Diaries - Good acting interesting story. 6. Blue Chips - Really aggressive movie, different from the rest because it exposes something that is a very realistic problem, and uses real players to do it. 7. White Men Can't Jump - Again great duo, good comedy and some really entertaining street ball. 8. The Sixth Man - This movie is hilarious, I watched this a 100 times as a kid. Having a ghost help you win games is not always satisfying. 9. Above The Rim - Gritty, Tupac... enough said. 10. Like Mike (nice cameos) - Corny as hell, but what kid doesn't dream about playing in the NBA and who doesn't want to be like the greatest? The movie is way to corny but the cameos are cool. So many NBA players makes it worth the watch if you are an NBA fan. 11. Celtic Pride - Hilarious movie, if you think you're a die hard fan, trust me these guys push the bill. What would you do to help your team win a championship? Kidnap the other teams best player maybe lol. 12. Eddie - Imagine being "honorary coach" for one night, and then acquiring the job permanently.... what puts it over the top is the real players and arenas used again.

LOL ya Pauly is playing it smart. Every time Situation gets overly aggressive with the girls Pauly turns into the nice calm guy and take it all away. Situation is just creepy....

Christine O'Donnell (full of lulz)
htown11 replied to YugoRocketsFan's topic in Off-Topic Discussion Forum
What's even funnier is the Democrats took over because people were fed up with the Republicans, and in two short years they are ready to switch back to what wasn't working before lol. Two party's that are in it for the political points, not for the people. -
Christine O'Donnell (full of lulz)

I just don't understand why anyone would be interested in electing a leader that quit on her own state. She may have been interested in 2012 (which is still a question mark on her end) but as most political critics put it "it was a flaky move on her part." I am more moderate liberal than hardcore conservative so that should answer why I don't really agree with Palin's policies without having to make a long drawn out post. I get the media bashed her no doubt they did, but at the same time they have a dedicated network over at Fox News abusing Obama 24/7. My point is media is part of the game, you can't get away from it and for Palin even if it was bad press she got so much publicity out of it she turned into a celebrity instead of a politician. That's how it came off to me when she quit and started doing book tours and appearances as a Fox News contributor. I read somewhere her numbers have dropped significantly, and her fame is slowly becoming stale. But it will be an interesting election to see how the Tea Party people and the Republican party coincide. -
Sitch was a huge douchebag the entire episode. I didn't really like this episode it was boring.

Caught the end of this on ESPN3 pretty entertaining. I didn't think Kobe would get that foul behind the three point line but he bought it, nearly pulled a comeback.

Christine O'Donnell (full of lulz)

This lady is crazy. It's amazing how people even support Palin and now O'Donnell. I mean your entitled to support whoever you please but these two are just goofy to me. Palin was crazy enough to begin with, then she quit on Alaska and people still somehow support her? I was driving back from class a few days ago, saw a big bumper sticker on the back of a car that said "Palin Power" needless to say I switched lanes.... -
Lol at least he's being honest. I am sure a few other players feel the same way.
-
Damn that was a fun game to watch. LeBron is just crazy, and Bosh looked solid.

I didn't get to watch the game, same problem as Dash. I really hope Dish and Fox figure this crap out, I will go crazy if they don't. What were the bright spots if any? I heard Yao was sloppy, certainly expected.
