  1. I still think Roy can play ball for quite some time. Granted, he's not going to be a superstar/franchise player, but then again, he still is going to put up some points. Look at it this way. He's been playing with the knee injury all season, and even during the games he was playing while hurting, he still put up great numbers. If he goes to a team where he's only asked to be a co-scorer, then he could fit very well. I'd love to see Indiana take a shot at him. Can you see him playing along with Granger? That would be one heck of a 1-2 punch. That being said, it's not going to happen. But like I said earlier in this post, put him on a team where he can trust another player to do some of the scoring, and he'll be fine. It all comes down to workload with this kind of an injury in my opinion.
  2. I've never seen somebody be able to get up for the alley-oop tosses, or to throw down on someones face like Griffin can. I agree that he reminds me of Dwight Howard as well. Can't wait to see what this kid has in his future. He's already turning into one of the better power forwards in the NBA in this only his rookie season.
  3. Welcome to the best man! Thanks for joining. Have fun and hope to see you stay active! See you around the forums.
  4. Collison Ruled Out vs. Hawks Here we go, let's see what kind of team we have without our point guard. Hopefully Ford can step up big, and either Price or Stephenson can come up big off the bench for Indiana. Let's go ahead and get this one despite the key injury guys! Thoughts?
  5. http://www.realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives/70116/20101116/prince_kuester_get_into_heated_argument/ Is it just me, or do others see this as the beginning of the end in Detroit for Prince? There have already been rumors that he was on the block, but they weren't accepting trades that weren't in their favor for him, but after this, I just don't see much of a future for him. What do you guys think will come out of this? All that I get coming out of this, is that Prince is getting frustrated with the coaching, and losing in Detroit, and I'm guessing he wants out to pursue a Championship with a contender. Thoughts?
  6. No doubt about Stephenson. The only thing is I think the Pacers would give A.J. Price the backup nod. I'd love to see them allow Stephenson to come up and play, but I just don't see that happening.
  7. While the Clippers have been very disappointing thus far, they are still young, so I don't have them as my number one ranked disappointment. What about the Houston Rockets? They had such high expectations coming into the season with guys like Aaron Brooks, Kevin Martin, Yao Ming returning, Shane Battier, and Luis Scola. What's happened in H-Town? All I know is that they are playing bad basketball, and they are easily the most disappointing team out there. They have experience which is why I put them over the Clippers. I understand if a young team is having trouble winning games, but with a guy like Brooks running the point (or should I say having the label of point guard), and other veteran surrounding him like Martin, Scola, and Yao (even with the minute limit), they have to be playing better than this. They are my most disappointing team, with the Clippers coming in second.
  8. Very good news for the Mavs. Once he's back, they gain an electrifying back up point guard, as well as a spot starter to give Kidd some more rest. He's going to be a big part of their team both right when he comes back, but especially in the future. Can't wait to see what he brings to the team this year.
  9. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/518523-nba-2010-2011-mike-dantoni-must-be-fired-and-how-the-knick-save-this-season I've been very disappointed with the kind of basketball that the Knicks have been playing this year. After signing Amare Stoudemire during the offseason, and having pieces like Danillo Gallinari, Wilson Chandler, Raymond Felton, and more around him, I felt like they would start of the season strong. As it is obvious now, I was mistaken. What do you guys think the Knicks need to do in order to save their season? Is it time to panic in New York? Or are people making too much out of just a slow start? Thoughts?
  10. Definitely not what I wanted to hear this evening. Seriously? I was nervous that something would happen at some point, and while it doesn't sound to serious, we really can't afford for DC to miss any time. If Ford starts, then what does that mean for the backup? Does A.J. Price come up, or does Lance Stephenson get his first chance in his NBA career? I'm guessing Price gets to come up, and I guess that's not too bad of a point guard duo either. Price looked very impressive and aggressive both on defense and offense in the preseason. Bad news for Indiana still though. Thoughts?
  11. Jeff Foster Practices with Pacers Great news for the Pacers. It's going to mean that we get back a very solid rebounding, defensive big. First off, we don't really have much depth in the frontcourt, so just getting Jeff back for that reason is big for us. Also, this means that we won't have to be playing Solomon Jones anymore which is a HUGE relief. Can't wait to see Foster back out there on the court for the first time this year! Thoughts?
  12. http://www.realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives/70100/20101115/hawks_reject_thompson_for_teague_offer_from_kings/ Can't blame the Hawks for declining this trade, but something else about this peaks my interest. I think this means that they aren't going to be trading Josh Smith. Why? Well, Jason Thompson is a very solid power forward, and to turn him down would be stupid if they were going to trade Smith and need a replacement. Maybe I'm looking too far into it, but that's what I see. Nice try by the Kings trying to acquire Teague. Thoughts?
  13. Very good addition! I like it. So what kinds of things do we put in these blogs? Sports? Or about life? Just curious.
  14. I'm interested to see how he plays this game. After bouncing around between a few teams this offseason, he's found his way back home, to where he originally was, Boston. Should be interesting to see how the fans welcome him, and I'm assuming it will be a very warm response. He'll be a very good acquisition for Boston.
  15. Huge extension there for McNabb. I still think it's been an interesting situation all around since Shanahan went into Washington, and in all honesty I haven't seen much to really show me that they are improving all that much. Sure, they have McNabb who has been one of the best QB's in the NFL's recent history (at least biggest names), and he has experience, but what's been up with them this year? Sitting at 4-4 they look very likely to miss the Playoffs once again, and until they bring in more youth to this team I don't see that changing. No offense to the offense, but when your best weapon is Santana Moss (and not the same Santana Moss that was a beast a couple years back), then that's not saying too much for your team. Give McNabb a few more weapons to work with!
  16. I'm looking forward to watching this game. Memphis has a good team yet again this year, I see them as being contenders to be in the Championship game this year! NCAAB is back full steam!
  17. He's going to be big when he's completely healthy for Dallas. They definitely need him, especially to give Kidd some rests, and remember like Kidd even said, take some starts away from him. He's their obvious future at point guard, and I'm looking forward to seeing what he brings this year.
  18. Lol so true. There used to be a guy on Pro Sports Daily who had the user name of Lou Holtz's Lisp, and he typed just about as good...but it was funny.
  19. Any team could use him, but the Patriots could a lot. Another team that I'd throw out there would be the Colts. Their receivers just can't seem to stay healthy, and could you imagine him with Peyton Manning as his quarterback? That would be ridiculous. If he does request a trade this offseason, I'd be all for the Packers going after him. We're probably going to see an even less skilled Donald Driver next year, and we need another playmaking wide receiver beside or in front of Greg Jennings.
  20. It's about time that they make this kind of move. DeRozan is the future of this team in my opinion right now. I think you could have a future "big three lol" of Weems, Ed Davis, and DeRozan. Makes sense to me at least, and not to mention Bargnani. As for Bosh's comments that was cool for me to see at least. I know Raptors fans are probably never going to forgive him for leaving, but it was cool to see those comments. It's obvious to me that he didn't leave because he was mad at the organization, he made a business move. Personally, I think he still loves Toronto, his former teammates and fans there as well. Great, professional move from Bosh in my opinion.
  21. Update Great news for the Pacers! When he went down I didn't think it was too serious because he was able to pop right back up off the floor. Hopefully this doesn't slow him down at all next game, because he is a big part of our team in the frontcourt off the bench, and probably as a starter in the near future. Thoughts?
  22. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/493215-pacers-flashback-what-if-ron-artest-didnt-go-into-the-stands Ugh, this is hard to think about for Indiana Pacers fans. Take a look at that years team. Like the article points out, Jermaine O'Neal, Reggie Miller, Ron Artest, Stephen Jackson, they were stacked. We lost our fanbase, we lost Artest and Jackson because of the fans hate, O'Neal was never the same, Reggie left soon after. To think that we were one of the best teams in the NBA, just a mere six year ago is hard to believe. Since then, we've been cleaning house of pretty much all our good players. We had to deal Jackson and Harrington away, Artest as well. It's just disappointing to look back and see everything that could have been. What do you guys think would have happened for the Indiana Pacers if Artest hadn't gone into the stands? Would they have won an Championship? Thoughts?
  23. And there's the touchdown. Absolutely horrible end to the game by the Browns.
  24. Wow, and now the Jets have a great chance to win it on a field goal. Horrible possession there for Cleveland.
  25. This is one crazy game. The last thing McCoy should do is try to force the issue to get the win. They are starting at their 3 yard-line. If he gets picked, the Jets likely win the game.
