  1. Ouch. Huge play from Hill to Calvin Johnson for the touchdown with 14 seconds remaining on the clock. That made the score 14-12 in favor of Buffalo, and then on the two-point conversion, Shaun Hill overthrew his target and they will lose to the Bills 14-12. Bills first win on the season!
  2. Maybe I'm jumping to quickly here, but he's looked great through his first few games as a starter in the NFL. He's almost single-handedly it seems brought some hope to the Browns future. http://www1.pictures.zimbio.com/gi/Colt+Mccoy+PdgPlMkDD-Km.jpg He's stepped in and won games, and competed with passion, and you can tell he has that drive to win that great players have to have. He just completely a masterful drive against a very good Jets defense to tie the game and send it into overtime. I want to know what you guys think about McCoy. Thoughts?
  3. Yes it was, and just like I was saying, he's looking like that QB of the future they've been looking for, for quite some time now. Way to go Browns. Looking forward to overtime! Just gotta get one more defensive stop.
  4. Vikings need to pick it up right now. They are down a touchdown with the 4th quarter left to play. Chicago is giving the Vikings all these dump passes for 3-5 yards, but if Minnesota really wants to win, they need to run the football well, and then let that open up the passing game for more than 3-5 yard gains.
  5. I've been very impressed with Colt McCoy so far. He looks like their future at quarterback, and what else can I say about Hillis except he's a beast? They're right in this game, should be a good finish.
  6. OK, not the only thing, but the only thing I haven't seen improvement on at all. Like from last season to this year, from what I've seen at least (and I'll admit I don't watch the Wizards on every game), but he didn't improve on the glass at all.
  7. Keep up the great work man! Can't wait to see my Pacers forum!
  8. That's pretty sick. McGee is a great player, but he needs to work on his rebounding. That's the only thing I see in his game that needs to improve. Great hookup from Wall to McGee, they seem to have one in the top-10 on ESPN at least every game. Sometimes two.
  9. There's no surprise that they are going to inquire about the availability of Nash, but I'm pretty sold on the idea that Phoenix will not deal him. Gentry came out and said that if Nash leaves, he leaves pretty much. Now, if for some reason a trade for Nash to New York did go down, this would be a huge power shift in the NBA in my opinion. You put Nash back on the same team with Amare, and you got that same duo that Phoenix had, with probably better all-around supporting pieces. First, that would get Amare going on the alley-oop passes again, and the back-door cuts. Second, you have guys like Raymond Felton, Danillo Gallinari, Ronny Turiaf (never thought I'd say that), and then young pieces like Toney Douglas, and Landry Fields. They would have a very talented team, and adding a veteran point guard who can both score the ball and contend to be the best passer in the NBA would be huge. That being said, I'm going to conclude this post by saying once again, I don't see any chance that this happens. Phoenix is not going to trade Steve Nash.
  10. Big win vs. the Cavs! Now looking forward to playing the Hawks next time out.

  11. Great post. Yeah, we have two good players at some positions. Like you said with Hibbert up front, he solidifies that position. Foster is going to be back to be that backup center which is a very solid backup. As for power forward we have both McRoberts and Hansbrough who are both hustlers, rebounders, and can score the ball as well. As for the wing positions, we have a lot of players that we can mix and match as we need. Danny Granger, Mike Dunleavy, Brandon Rush, Paul George, and even Dahntay Jones just goes to show how deep we are around the perimeter. At point guard we have Darren Collison like you said, and then Ford has come out this year wanting to ball, and he has had a very solid year thus far for us. Assuming we continue to play tough defense, we will make the Playoffs, and if we start working more together as a team, and cut down on the stupid passes then I think we can compete in the Playoffs. Do I think they have a shot to make the Finals? Absolutely not, but I could see us upsetting a team like the Magic or Heat just like you said. Thanks for some recognition man!
  12. Roy Leaves Game with Left Knee Injury Tough news for the Blazers. This is either the old, no cartilage or meniscus, or it's a legit torn something in his knee or sprain. The situation with his knees just keeps getting worse and worse, and it's really starting to make me think that he may never return to his full form, and that he may end up having to retire way early in his career. Very bad news for Portland. Thoughts?
  13. http://www.realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives/70081/20101113/howard_doesnt_know_what_to_do_about_technicals/ It's just that he doesn't understand that he can't blow up at the refs when they make a call. He's known for making gestures, or giving that surprised throw down of the ball, and this year that's going to get you a technical. What he better do is just get used to it and quit complaining about it, otherwise he's going to keep giving away free points, and earn himself a one-game suspension before the end of the season. Thoughts?
  14. He's gotten into some game action and played very well so far this year. It's Psycho T, don't worry about his health too much. I'm expecting to hear that he'll be available to play next game. That's just the way Hansbrough is, and always has been.
  15. Very nice win for us. We came to play, and we didn't disappoint. Granger went off for 34, Hibbert with the double-double, Collison and Ford held down the point guard rotation very nicely, and Mike Dunleavy put up 20 points for us as well. Great job to get this win, and get back to .500.
  16. http://www.realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives/70079/20101113/douglas_roberts_nearly_lost_vision_in_right_eye/ That's just painful to even read about. Wow, good thing they caught it when they did, otherwise he would have been without sight in his right eye, and probably wouldn't have ended his basketball career more than likely. My thoughts are prayers are definitely with CDR during this time. Thoughts?
  17. Ugh, just disappointing. He went down awkwardly, and then just popped up and everyone thought he was doing good. He hit both of his free throws, got back on defense, went through another offensive possession, and then the Cavs called a timeout and there's no more Psycho T. Sucks he was running on adrenaline, and hopefully it's not a bad sprain. We can't afford to lose yet another big man. Thoughts?
  18. Chicago for me as well. It's crazy all the time there. Just go outside and there's thousands of people walking around. Either Chicago or New York, but I really like the feel of Chicago better, more comfortable. It's not like people are pushing and shoving you to speed up either. It's just relaxed and enjoyable. I only live two hours away from it, so I do get to go there quite a bit. Indianapolis isn't that bad either if you go to the downtown mall. Other than that I got to give a shout out to Pensacola, Florida. The beach there is absolutely amazing.
  19. What's up man? How you been?

  20. Cavaliers Injury Updates Good news for the Pacers that these two can't go tonight. I know first-hand that Mo Williams is known as a Pacer killer, and Varejao has always hurt us as well. Hopefully this means we can get a win, and not just a close game, I want a blowout to get some revenge on Cleveland for those days when they had LeBron. Let's get it Pacers!
  21. Welcome to OTR man, it's the best basketball site you can get! I'm actually the one who referred you, my AIM was that. Haha, well hope you have fun and are able to stay active! See you around the boards.
  22. Not yet in my opinion. Roy has still been playing fairly well with the knee injuries, so I think he can keep it up. Trust me, you'll see when he's no longer to be the #1 option. Unless the reason your bringing this up, is to try to take the stress off of his knees some so he can be the #2 option for longer? I don't know, I don't think Roy really wants the Blazers to baby him. If I had to take a guess, he's going to play through it, and he'll be able to play at a high level for the rest of his career, just may need some extra rest throughout the season. He may also retire early simply because knee injuries affect your entire life, not just basketball. Tough for the Blazers to hear though, especially after that big contract.
  23. Alexander was the eighth freaking pick, and he's turned out to be a major bust. I remember watching him at West Virginia, he looked like he was going to be something special, but obviously that never happened. I'm sure he'll land with another team to fulfill a deep bench role sometime in the near future, but like the article says, he probably will never make much of an impact, if any impact an any team. Thoughts?
  24. I'm really looking forward to the game tonight! Indiana against Cleveland for the first time since LeBron has left, and I can't wait. I know we always played this team tough even when LeBron was in town, and now that he's not I'm really hoping to pay them back for the losses we took during his tenure there. Even though I want the blowout win, I know it's not going to happen. It will come down to which team doesn't make mistakes and miss free throws in the 4th quarter more than likely.
