before the season if you told me the Heat would have lost 7 games before Thanksgiving id tell you to GTFO. Toronto being only .5 out of a playoff spot is a surprise... but believeable this early. The Raptors being behind the Heat by only 2 games is crazy though. The Heat's bad start is more shocking than the Raptors good(?) start.

you call it living in fear... i call it being more safe. i lock my front door when i leave my house, is that because im living in fear of burglars? no... im just being more safe. same thing, i dont mind more security at an airport... i just don't want another 9/11 to happen again. its not like im planning my day around my supposed fear... EDIT: and okay.. we are providing more security at airports. DAMN. the terrorists win the mind games... +1 for them?

id rather have to show up the airport an extra 30 minutes early to go through extra security than to see another 9/11 happen again. that should be the case with EVERYONE. i honestly don't even want to hear an argument for less security/make thing faster. EDIT: when i do get on an airplane i usually just show up 45-60 minutes before my flight leaves and there are no problems.

Their will be an excuse after every loss and 100 pats on the back after every win. I can't wait to see where the hype train takes us after the Heat rattle off a 10 game win streak where they win by double figures every game.

I hate to say it, but I doubt Yao plays 50+ games this year. This team really does need Brooks back though. this off-season they need another young C to build around and finally concede to the fact that Yao's body simply won't let him be that guy anymore.

Gotta go with Dwight even though I've been able to watch Griffin almost every night. However it's not like its a huge margin and you really can't go wrong with either. Dwight is bigger and IMO that makes him the more freakish, AKA more athletic, player.

Chris Paul has the Hornets playing great right now. he seems to have the ability to turn it on in the 2nd half when his teams needs him after spending the entire first half getting his team involved. Now i know last night wasn't a great example of that vs. the Clippers, but the guy does makes everyone else around him better. He takes what is given to him. When he isn't initiating the offense, rare I know, he was still barking out orders on where everyone should be on the floor, Floor General. I don't think I saw Paul get the least bit rattled last night. That's what I love from MVP candidates. The team has definitely taken on his personality of being 'quiet assassins' so to speak. They go hard on the defensive end and execute almost flawlessly on the offensive end, as a team, with Paul being the main reason behind that identity.

Figured out The Miami Heat's problem... they have a bunch of the 24+, non-clutch guys but they don't have enough of the 5 point in clutch time guys!!! j/k j/k j/k i love Wade.

id like to see Blake participate in at least one dunk contest in his career. i've watched enough of him to know that he can not only get up, but get up very quickly and finish hard will Griffin be playing on the rookie or sophomore team this year? he's a part of last years draft class but still technically a rookie

i have to say Bonner kuz he is more of a threat from outside and when his jumper is falling and his defender doesn't close out the correct way he can put the ball on the floor and get an open midrange J or take it to the hoop if he needs to. i also think Bonner is a better defender as well.
