  1. Pokemon http://spe.fotolog.com/photo/14/1/81/masterxpokemon/1196383718_f.jpg If you were being sarcastic, then I completely went out of my way to post that picture lol
  2. I just always though he had no work ethic. You see guys like Durant and you can tell they work on their game. While Beasley was in Miami, I don't think he made an effort to get any better, he had a few good game here and there, but he mostly under achieved.
  3. Is this ranking the best #1 picks? If so, why on Earth is Greg Oden at #4 and Dwight and Rose are lower?
  4. I know people like to give him shit, but I just want to point out that he did a great job in the playoffs, mainly the finals. He always seems like he is very soft and the players don't give a shit about him, but last night, his personality came through and you can see how much the players really like him. Anyone feel different about him after this playoff run?
  5. If he can fix whatever is up with his back then we should keep him. He might not be on fire every night, but he has been fighting through constant injuries....he is still a great shooter and plays with a lot of heart and is willing to sacrifice his body for the better of the team.
  6. There was never a doubt in my mind that he would show up eventually
  7. I had completely forgotten what Dan Gilbert had said, but reading that again was so damn funny. He just phrased it like Lebron was some kind of curse that was meant to last forever. He must be ashamed of himself right now.
  8. That last minute was so painful to watch, I don't know how our garbage minute guys are in the NBA...its like watching 5th graders play basketball lol
  9. Ahh, I couldn't tell what they were singing lol
  10. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Nh-MpzJ4C8&feature=share Pretty nice commercial
  11. There are a lot of vids of the last few seconds with Lebron jumping up and down...I just wanted to hear what the fans were chanting while Lebron was jumping up and down after he got benched, they were chanting something, but I couldn't figure out what it was...it wasn't MVP.
  12. I actually saw that in the game, but I wasn't quite sure if what I saw was actually the ref or Mike Miller lol
  13. I think it was pretty clear that Lebron is miles ahead of Durant in most parts of the game. Even if you despise Lebron and love Durant, you have to admit Lebron showed him who was boss in this series. Durant did not take the task of defending Lebron, if you want to be great, or want to improve your defense, you should take the responsibility of guarding the other team's best player. Lebron defended every position on the floor, and basically played every position, Durant stuck to guarding the easiest guy he could find and really just stuck to shooting jumpers with the occasional post up and dunk. Not talking down on Durant, but he could have done so much more in this series to improve his game, but he stepped away from all the tasks he will need to take to get the team a title. I hope he learned from this experience and takes to learning how to play proper defense in the off season, because everytime he was on Lebron, he was taken off the dribble and caught reaching....that is how I saw it. I look forward to seeing him improve because he can be very scary when he develops more of his game.
  14. I would say we have the best chance..who in the East can beat us? Indiana gave us a great run, so I think they can beat us, Nets might be getting much better next year, and Boston still has Rondo, Pierce, and Avery. Chicago won't have Rose for much of next year, and they might make some changes on that team. There are maybe 3-4 teams that can cause us trouble, but if we keep a lot of this team together, we should be fine. Not even worried about Wade, he might have bad games, but he shows up when it matters.
  15. Anyone following Skip Bayless? He must hate his life right now, having to give Lebron credit.
  16. I was gonna go to Sports Authority, but I am just going to order stuff online. My friend just started working at the Heat store in the arena yesterday, but I don't want to bother him either.
  17. Bad thing now is I have to buy the championship gear to preserve the memories lol....about $75 are about to go down on shirts and a cap. http://www.miamihoopsgear.com/assets/product_images/PACIADIKFMEKAPLA.jpg The no lens glasses are a hit lol
  18. I would love to go to the parade, it might rain like crazy, but I would go.
  19. Yessssss. So happy for this team, and the city was just absolutely crazy last night. We easily played the most balanced game since this team was put together, the threes were flying tonight and Mike Miller could not be stopped. This is what this team is capable of, and I am glad I saw it in action in the biggest stage. Also, tickets for the game are ridiculous. About $200 per ticket just for standing room up in the nose bleeds, I saw some tickets up to $300 for nosebleed and above $50,000 for court side...I know that last year, my ECF tickets were in the ball park of $750 per ticket at the very last row of the 100 section, so finals tickets are probably more.
  20. Well guys, im out, hope to return to this site later tonight with us having won the title.
  21. I didn't go to a single playoff game this year ..my dad's boss was not in the giving mood this year.
  22. Jesus Christ, that will probably make it to 1 million by the end of today if it continues. Good for her, money won't buy her happiness, but it will sure make her life 1000x better.
  23. The thing with this series, is that there is no certain advantage to any team, every game comes down to the last few seconds. We could have won with a sweep, could have lost with a sweep, the situation could be flipped where we are down 3-1 instead of up 3-1. No idea what will happen tonight, but no doubt in my mind that a loss here would be disastrous for us. I don't think we fear playing in OKC, I just don't want OKC to figure things out in time to turn it around against us. They are dead meat right now, all they can do is hope Durant and Westbrook score even more than they have already, and we have been able to withstand that anyway. The crowd tonight will be crazy and I just hope for a win tonight. I think we will get it done.
  24. I don't think your toughness determines what your body is going to do to you, if you have leg cramps and you can't do anything useful on the court, then there is not much you can do but wait for your body to get over it. I never understood the logic in calling someone a [expletive] because they get injured. Just like if these hockey guys took a puck to the face, they are not going to bounce back up in 2 seconds like they were hit by a feather, they will need a bit of time to recover. I guess I am not a [expletive] though because I played basketball for an entire year with a torn ACL. Thats not being tough, thats just being an idiot and risking further injury.
  25. I completely ruined my Kobe Bryant shoes that I have had for a few years now...I was walking around school and stepped in the deepest puddle ever, it went past my ankle and got one of my shoes completely soaked. Trying to save them right now lol
