  1. If we were all as good as we say we are, we would be playing in college or something. I play well in pick up games, but in structured games its a different story.
  2. All white people that play basketball consistently can shoot....its what we depend on lol
  3. Basketball - shooting Football - I played on like 4 flag football teams in middle school and early high school, all I did was play WR and run deep routes all the time and just burn everyone, and I was usually the tallest guy so it was pretty easy..and on defense I was usually rushing the QB or just playing zone. Never really played tackle football since I don't really enjoy getting tackled Baseball - Played for like 3 years and I was an absolute beast, probably my best sport if I stuck with it. I had a cannon for an arm, coaches were always telling me that even as a kid. I played every single position at one point or another, but I mostly stuck to pitching and when my time was up (since I could only throw 75 pitches) I was moved to 3rd base or catcher. My grandfather is still pissed at my dad to this day because my parents took me out of baseball because I was slacking in school lol Don't really play any other sports. I like soccer, but its way too much for me, gathering enough people is a hassle and everyone is tired after 5 minutes.
  4. I don't listen to anything, I tried listening to music while working out and I just drift off and focus on the music instead lol....and the strings from the headphones piss me off.
  5. I watched this game with a huge smile on my face....for some reason, I actually noticed how disgusting our defense is last night. Every time the Blazers took the ball up court, they got trapped, and then passed out and we immediately had another trap. Also Wade and Lebron get down the court in like less than a second, no one can stop that. The only way we can lose now is by beating ourselves, which we did late in the game by taking stupid shots and making weak passes, but I am extremely happy with this team now. The Blazers did look like a really bad team last night, but I don't know if that is their fault or ours.
  6. Damn dude, I get 30 carbs alone from one glass of milk I drink lol
  7. I get around 30 g of protein per meal, and I eat like 5 meals a day, including shakes and stuff. I am usually around 150-170 g of protein in a day depending on what exactly I eat.
  8. I studied though, chem is just a difficult subject. Stepping my game up for the next one, next test is in April, gonna start studying after spring break lol
  9. and I thought I played well in pickup games...this guy can just dunk over everyone whenever he feels like it.
  10. nvm, that test ripped me a new asshole...I did about 30 problems on my own on a practice test and none of them were on the test, not even similar problems. Classic teacher move of giving you a review and then giving you a test that has no resemblance to the review.
  11. Yahoo answers is my savior for this chem test tomorrow....I just learned like 5 weeks worth of chemistry in one hour.
  12. and I have noticed that everyone with Kobe under favorite players are talking crap about Wade.
  13. Yea, but it wouldn't be taken to this extreme because it would only be me and Flash defending Wade. I personally don't see the big deal, I don't care if Kobe gave Wade a bloody nose. As long as he doesn't dislocate his shoulder or something then its fair game. Its only logical that I take Wade's side, I am a Heat fan. If it was the other way around then it would be all the Lakers fans defending Kobe from Heat fans and the other people throwing in their opinion.
  14. Yea, who cares if he fouled him hard though? He didn't kill the man, he gave him a bloody nose. Kobe is fragile with all his broken finger and shit, I am sure he can care less about a broken nose. You guys are making it seem like his master plan was to injure him, fouling him hard doesn't mean he was trying to injure him. Without the bloody nose, this would be no big deal, just a massive overreaction. Whats the point in arguing though, when someone has their mindset on something, there is no way you can persuade them into thinking differently. The way I see it, after watching Wade play every game of his life in Miami, through tough times and good times, Wade has always been like this, it just took breaking Kobe's nose for people to realize it. If you don't like it, then you should have started hated on him the day he stepped foot on the court.
  15. No way I will win this argument, but if you think Wade's mindset in that situation was to break Kobe's nose or hurt him then you are crazy. I can GUARANTEE if the shoe was on the other foot, people would compliment Kobe for going hard in every game no matter what, because that is what "legends do". The foul wasn't even hard, it was a typical wrap up that went wrong. I honestly want to talk some sense into a majority of you, but its not going to happen. Its not like he injured Kobe and he is going to be out for weeks, dude is perfectly fine.
  16. I can't possibly get 4,000-5,000 calories a day. I struggle to get to 3,500. My problem is that I am allergic to peanuts so I can't eat that, I am not too big on fruits and vegetables either. I basically get all my calories from eggs, oatmeal, milk, protein powder, chicken and brown rice. That is literally what I eat everyday, when I am at school I either have Subway or Chick Fil A but I eat the same stuff all the time. Doesn't matter now though, I am trying to lose fat instead of gaining weight like crazy. Next time around I am going to aim for 4,000 because I went from 153-165 in like a month and a half, then I just didn't gain a pound for a while and then I put on 5 pounds around Christmas time.
  17. I have 5 midterms in 3 days.....way to set me up for failure college. There is no way in hell I can do well on all of them.
  18. The only dunk that even looked nice was George's glow in the dark dunk.....it just looked cool. Every dunk was terrible, nothing amazing. I mean, yea dunking two balls is cool, but its just a gimmick. I want to see just straight up nasty dunks.
  19. I don't think its possible to compare them...how on Earth are you going to correctly compare Charles Barkley in the past to Lebron today, or Stockton in the past to Derrick Rose today? The game is different, and of course we tend to ride the nuts of the NBA legends. Just like years from now when someone makes a post comparing the 2024 Olympic Team to the 2012 Olympic team, we are going to jump all over the 2012 Olympic team's nuts because they are "NBA Legends"....just let it happen. This team can crap on any team out there, that is all that matters.
  20. Speaking of eating, is brown rice a good way to lose body fat? Last year I did this brown rice thing and I dropped like 10 pounds, but I lost muscle and I was really strict on what I ate, I had a streak of eating only 2,000 calories a day for like 2 weeks. I have been doing it now for like 3 weeks but keeping my calories around 3,000 and I am not really seeing results. I read a lot that carbs are not good for losing fat, but these are complex carbs so I am guessing it helps in some way.
  21. Man I am 6'1 170...I do not move from around that weight no matter what. I get bigger (at least I think so) but my weight stays exactly the same. My goal is to get to like 175 and below 10% body fat by around June. I don't understand it either, I have a friend who is like an inch shorter than me and has the same body type as me but he weighs 175. He doesn't even work out.
  22. Probably Chicago.....Miami could be hostile, but only at certain points and against certain games. You will never see the Miami crowd go crazy if we are beating the Kings by like 30 points, half of them would just doze off and not pay attention...every Chicago game I see is loud throughout.
  23. I think it should be breaking news for the entire day....when Albert Pujols signed with the Angels, I didn't find out about it until hours after it happened. He signed at like 2 AM Eastern time and I was sleeping until like 12 PM. I think it really depends on when it happens and how quickly people will find out about it. If it happens really early in the morning and its only breaking news for 2 hours, then people waking up later won't know about it.
