  1. good move jerry, i like your thinking. keep up the good work
  2. i cant wait for this draft. the eagles have so many picks, its just crazy we need a safety, linebacker, guard, and maybe corner/DE early in the draft. hopefully we can steal some talent at those positions early. i hope earl thomas or mike iupati drop to us
  3. espn is horrible. even sports center is getting worse and worse, they just talk about pointless [expletive] half the time
  4. then watch something else. if you arent interested in watching a good baseball game then change the channel, no one is forcing you to watch it but the fact is that a yankees - red sox game will get higher national rating then any other game, so why put anything else on?
  5. if he dropped to the 4th round then why not take him. but any earlier then the eagles 2nd 4th round pick i would be pissed about wasting haha
  6. they need a third qb, but i cant see them drafting one with one of thier top picks. or they better not at least
  7. the eagles arent gonna waste a second round pick on a backup qb. i hate stupid rumors. journalists just write [expletive] like this to get attention. there is no actual proof of the eagles showing interest
  8. yeah, they arent always a problem, but why keep them if there is a good chance they will mess something up i got mine out last year. it really wasnt all that bad
  9. my friend just got it. the quality on it was very good, pretty much tv quality on your computer. only problem is with blackouts. if you want it to watch a team from your city then it is useless, but good if you live far from your team
  10. bulger has really fallen apart over the past few years. he used to be one of the top qb's in the league
  11. i doubt then resign him until at least midseason or after the year to see how he does. if he does well then there is no reason for him not to want to come back
  12. remember when i said young talent? and keep in mind that the eagles have 5 picks in the top 87. a first round, 2 2nd round, 2 3rd round, 2 4th round picks. it is absolutely insane how many picks they have entire starting O age QB- kolb- 25 RB- mccoy- 21 RB- bell- 26 FB- weaver- 27 WR- desean- 23 WR- maclin- 21 WR- avant- 26 TE- celek- 25 OL- stacy andrews- 28 OL- peters- 28 OL- herremans- 27 OL- jackson- 29 OL- justice- 25 OL- cole- 25 OL- jean-gilles- 26 (eagles will draft some o-line too) starting D DE- cole- 27 DE- tapp- 25 DT- patterson- 26 DT- bunkley- 26 LB- bradley- 26 LB- gaither- 26 LB- fokou- 24 LB- jordan- 24 (hopefully they draft a LB) CB- samuel- 29 CB- hobbs- 26 S/CB- jackson- 26 S- mikell- 29 (they will absolutely be drafting secondary so, the eagles HAVE NO STARTERS that are above the age of 30. and majority are between 24-27.
  13. he never will. im sure he will talk about his time here when the eagles play the redskins but i see no way that he rips on the eagles
  14. when your 6th and 7th hitters were both all stars then you know you have a pretty deep lineup
  15. they are looking amazing. this years offense is easily better then it has ever been
  16. you are somewhat right. i think they are "rebuilding", but it is far from a traditional rebuild. they have a crazy amount of young talent. i think it is more of moving to a new era then rebuilding or retooling.
  17. i think that giants fan knows more about the eagles then most eagles fans. i totally agree with every point, especially number 6. it seemed like i was the only one who thought that
  18. lol @ not knowing anything about the situation besides the headline "Mcnabb to 'Skins"
  19. id rather get better value in a trade with a team in my division only involving draft picks then not trade at all or get less so you think the redskins were incredibly stupid for trading picks to a team in their division too? i guess they shouldnt have traded for mcnabb, doesnt matter if it helps their team, he is in the division so you cant trade with a team in the division.
  20. who cares who is worth more or any of that. it really doesnt matter at all in any way. the eagles traded down a few picks because they knew they could still get kevin kolb. the cowboys offered the best deal and the eagles accepted. the eagles didnt hand spencer to the cowboys at all. who cares
  21. but we do know one thing, it is going to incredibly weird to see mcnabb in another jersey. that is the one thing that i can not imagine at all
  22. i also agree. the trade could easily favor either team. the redskins could resign mcnabb and could win a lot of games for them and get to the playoffs. his age could also get to him and he could just be another average, overpaid quarterback. the eagles could use the picks and draft someone who turns out to be a great player. the eagles could also pick the wrong guy and waste the picks you are right, anything can happen in the NFL. right now i think it was a smart move by both teams, but who knows how it will turn out
  23. its possible, why not. anything can happen over the course of a football season, and the eagles are a little young, but absolutely have more than enough talent on the roster to make it to the playoffs
  24. to everyone who said that it was a terrible trade just because it was in the division---- learn to read instead of just reading headlines. yes you never want to trade within your division, but to me this is an exception. mcnabb is 33 years old and on the final year of his contract. it is well known that the eagles arent going to resign him after the season. instead of just keeping him, the eagles first off allow their young quarterback to get some playing time, but also they get pretty much a first round pick and other picks (not finalized yet). i dont know if the redskins resigned him yet, but to me either keeping mcnabb for the year then losing him or trading him in the division for a first round pick and more is a VERY easy decision for me im pretty happy with this trade. i am very excited for the season. i know we probably arent gonna get far into the playoffs, but this team is already loaded with young talent, plus have a ton of picks in the draft. all the tools be a very dominate team for a very long time
