i have never been on the website and i dont plan on it anytime soon. maybe just for sports stuff though, but i absolutely never plan on tweeting or whatever they call it

you dont know the eagles then. they love those 4th and 5th round picks every year, they usually have a stockpile of them and they usually do nothing with them i may have to join you in that if it happens. i wasnt a fan of the aso trade before, but i am now. samuel and aso would be amazing, or if we traded up for berry. but i have a feeling none of this is gonna happen, because once again we are talking about the eagles here. they will probably just leave hobbs and hanson at cb, and let marlin jackson and some mid round picks fight for the other spots. lets hope this doesnt happen though

ive been gone for the past week, but just heard about sheldon brown. he was one of my favorite eagles, always tough and hitting people, hasnt missed a game in his career. i was hoping he would step up as more of a leader when dawkins left, but it didnt happen too much. i dont understand why trading gocong though but eagles value 4th and 5th round picks way too much

you dont know you hate it until you try it, which you better do next year

If you have the money then i would absolutely say to UF. i love living at school and i could never imagine commuting. if i was in your situation i would consider paying extra myself to live at school. but there is nothing wrong with commuting if that is what you have to do, but id avoid it

i wish that was true.....

yeah, he is less likely for the vikings because they are a good team in the NFC. a team like st louis or oakland are more likely. but i think if the vikings gave a good enough offer then the eagles would do the trade
-
an eagles trade for aso would be pretty tough to do. eagles wouldnt do mcnabb for aso because they already have asante, brown, hobbs, and the guy from indy (he played cb but i think he will play safety for the eagles). then if the eagles trade either of the two starters then we would have to get much more then aso for him. aso and second round (8th in second round) for asante/brown and mcnabb? huge trade, seems like a longshot to me
-
i didnt know you could tell the future!!
-
BS. no other reasoning needed besides that whatever source said that had nothing better to report on so they made up a rumor
-
just to start, i am one of the biggest mcnabb supporters and i do appreciate what he has done for the philadelphia eagles in the past the logic is that mcnabb is 33 years old and is going on the last year of his contract. the eagles are notorious for not resigning older players. kevin kolb was drafted in the second round as the guy to replace mcnabb eventually. kolb is also going into the last year of his rookie contact this season. situation 1- lets say the eagles dont trade mcnabb and mcnabb starts this season with kolb on the bench for the 4th year. we know the eagles history with older players, so they will not want to spend a lot of money on a 34 year old quarterback. kolb will be a free agent after being on the bench for 4 years with the eagles. chances are he will not want to resign with a team that treated him like crap and never gave him a chance to play. he will want to go elsewhere and we will be stuck with either a 34 year old probably overpaid qb or no qb at all situation 2- the eagles trade donovan mcnabb today. lets say the trade with the rams went through, eagles got the 33rd pick in the draft. eagles start 25 year old kevin kolb and he develops with the other young players on the offense such as desean jackson. kolb would have a very skilled offense around him and has a very high chance of success for many years with the young offense. the eagles also have an extra player from the 33rd pick you choose which situation you would rather be in. it makes absolutely no sense to not trade mcnabb now, better off getting something for him now then letting him walk next year. i would love to hear a legitimate argument to keep mcnabb though. and by legitamate i mean not just saying that mcnabb has been a good qb for many years.

hahaha. best game ever

so one good game in his first two nfl starts? not too bad. and i dont care if he threw the ball 50 times or what, for one of his first games in the NFL that is absolutely amazing
-
not really. there are some (dumb) philly fans that have always hated him and wanted him gone. but i think a good amount of philly fans have supported him and think that he should be traded now because it would be the smartest move for the franchise. there isnt much switching back and forth though
-
id love to see westbrook back if the eagles could sign him for cheap. i think he still has something left, not necessarily as a starting rb, but he could still help a team. i dont want to see him retire though
-
and there is a poll on the site with that article that asks if the eagles should do that trade and right now it is at 76% yes and 24% no
-
same article as before, i guess they added in the safety late but really hope this goes through, i would be very happy with it. they would get essentially a first round pick as well as a starting safety. i dont know a lot about atogwe, but i think he is supposed to be a very good safety and is only 28 i love this trade, but i want to see reid talking to other teams like san fran also and try to get them to offer something better and compete with st louis. reid is usually pretty good with that, so we can only hope he makes the right decision and pulls the trigger at the right time

the carcillo hit was kinda weird and questionable, but the gagne one absolutely should have been a penalty or more. the announcer is a complete dumbass saying how gagne purposely turned and that it was a great hit. it was far from that. gagne turned early to play the puck, he was already facing the boards completely when he got hit
