it was a good move by the bears to sign peppers, i dont know what everyone is talking about. the bears have no first round picks, aka no big contracts for their picks. they have that extra money to spend, and they spent it on the best player available

just like majority of big new stories, it is way overhyped. sure it is a problem, but its not like every toyota ever made accelerates like crazy when you dont want it to. it is a minor problem in some models, something which probably will never affect most people, but people will believe anything

halladay is gonna be great for hamels. similar to what moyer was, but one of the best pitchers in recent memory instead of jamie moyer.

why did they release witherspoon, WTF. he was by far the best linebacker, really the only linebacker that should be starting in the NFL. the eagles better do something, i feel like they always just put their name in the race for big free agents like peppers but have no intention of actually spending the money to sign them. this team was so far under the cap and now has so much money with no cap, but they just cant spend it. yes westbrook isnt the same player as he was and probably doesnt deserve the money he was making, but if you arent gonna spend the money on something else then why cut him. andy reid is just pissing me off moore and more every year. i try to support him but its getting tough. it seems like he enjoys getting close every year. he does nothing to put the team over the top but keeps them in middle

i totally disagree. it doesnt just change eras in one year, you cant think of it as a 1960's team to a 2000's team. but the thing is that 32 teams arent given an opportunity. a team like the detroit lions or similar team does not have the same chance to sign free agents, which gets fans, as a team like the cowboys. its the same thing in baseball with the yankees or red sox compared to the royals or marlins. this is why i think there should be a salary cap in baseball as well as a salary cap in football. it just isnt fair, no matter how much you try to tell yourself that it is ok and deserved. its not

for once ecn is right. going into the olympics no one expected the US to get anywhere near a silver metal. it was all about canada, russia, sweden, etc. by 2014 guys like parise, kane, ryan, and van Riemsdyk will have a lot more experience. before the olympics i said that i didnt expect them to do much this year, but by the next olympics they would be a very good team. they already showed they are a good team now, but in 4 years they have a legit shot to win it

there were probably a ton of people just flipping through channels and watched some hockey on NBC, this cant happen when all of your games are on versus. the nhl needs to do something about it. get on espn, or even some other major network like tnt or something. they just have change how it is now
