i agree. the fact the USA could even keep up was amazing. canada had so much more skill and depth then every other team, it wasnt even close. im excited for the US in the next olympics and on though. they have an incredibly young team with guys like kane, parise, and ryan. plus there are a few guys like JVR who didnt make it this year but will in the future.

either miss one regular season game, which there are 82 of per year, or watch an olympic gold metal game which happens once every 4 years. and its USA canada which happens much less then that i dont think thats a tough decision at all, but maybe thats just me...

yeah, beating canada twice would be crazy. its gonna be really tough, but anything is possible with miller, solid defense and the skill they have on offense

lol. i dont agree and deep down i also dont agree. the goal is to win another world series, but that doesnt mean sell your farm teams to be good for one year. the phillies are trying to balance being good now and keeping a team that can compete for years to come. and they have done a pretty damn good job. you are just used to the mets front office, you cant comprehend smart roster decisions

just watched it, great game but i just looked up canadas roster a bit. they have 20 forwards on the team, 12 of them are captains (or used to be for a while, such as pronger). there are only 4 players that are not captains or assistant captains for their NHL teams

they werent superbowl favorites with LT. and this year he didnt do much anyway, rivers was more responsible for the (regular season) success.
