with vick, they just figured that he would be better then feeley, and has the potential to be great. it had more to do with feeley then kolb. and if vick signed for 3 or 4 years, then i would say it means kolb sucks, but it is essentially a 1 year contract, which doesnt effect kolb since he is a backup now anyway but you are a bit right with garcia. if they had complete confidence that kolb would be able to run this team then garcia probably would not have been signed. especially since mcnabb is only gone for a week or 2 probably

its just some buffalo writer trying to make a story out of nothing. TO skipped post game interviews, and that turns into his leadership being questioned. sounds like some BS to me

the vick signing had nothing to do with kolb. vick is only going to be here this season and signing garcia is just a temporary thing because they need 1 more qb, so why not sign a veteran qb who has played in this system before. reid already said kolb will start. i dont know if that is actually true or not though but as i said before (i forget which thread), im not giving on kolb until he starts at least one game. it is incredibly hard in any sport to just get thrown in the game randomly. he had no warning or anything and he was put at one of the hardest positions in sports against a good defense. now if he looks lost all game against the saints then just ignore this post, but i am not giving up until then

he has never started a game. its a lot different starting compared to just getting randomly thrown in the game with no warning, its not easy to do so hopefully he will settle down and do well with his first actual start, but we'll see.

yeah, but in the article above it said a rib near his lower back, so i really have no idea but my guess from limited knowledge is that mcnabb will sit out this week but come back the week after. he has to rest the ribs a little bit at least. and kolb will be getting the reps in practice, but if he doesnt do well in practice then i would not be surprised to see garcia start. you can never really trust what reid says with that kind of stuff and i would also not be surprised to see kolb start, but garcia come in if anything bad happens at all

anything i say about the reading every single post would get me suspended so there isnt much point in saying it. but i will just say that it is pretty obvious whether or not you have read some of the past threads and i didnt really catch the sarcasm. but besides that confusion, your second comment about retiring was pretty bad, unless i am somehow missing even more sarcasm

i havent watched urlacher consistently enough over the past few years to say if his play has declined or not, but if any of his injuries or back problems really hindered his performance that much then he would have sat out. obvious he and the trainers thought that he could play through the injuries and play at a high enough level, otherwise he would not have played. and you are not one to talk about bashing someone for no reason

you have to read football threads to know if that is true or not. has he played all 16 games the past 4 straight years? i dont care what they talk about in pre-game analysis. he hasnt missed any games, clearly all of his "injuries" havent been serious, or even considered injuries at all. and the fact that you think he should retire because he is hurt all the time is pretty hilarious though

it is a great problem to have i just think it would be really tough to start a rookie in the playoffs over a guy with as much experience as pedro
