wagner isnt the same player he was. he was one of the most dominate pitchers, he certainly isnt close now. sure he pitched well and is still decent, but he is miles from where he was years ago

is that just at some point in the season? but you are making it worse then it is by that. a few of those guys are back, and it doesnt make a difference that wagner and sheffield made the all star team, they arent the same players now

it is pretty crazy. ive seen teams go through a lot of injuries, but this is probably the worst ive ever seen

your first reason is wrong as i said in my post above, and your second reason is also wrong. the mac OS does run a little smoother the vista (which i hate, cant wait till windows 7), but an equally priced PC will not be very much slower. especially if you are only using it for internet browsing. id love to hear some of you "many advantages"

yeah im trying to start a fight, i fighting people through the internet. its my hobby but seriously, there is no doubt that apple is a successful company. they do great marketing which really gets people to buy. i have an ipod touch and love it. there is really no other company that comes close to competing with apple with its ipods. and itunes is a POS program. if there was a reliable alternate program i would get it in a heartbeat. but thats a different discussion. back to apple. sure they are successful but i really hate how they run the company. why do you think you cant change ipod batteries without voiding the warranty? its so apple can make more money in a few years when your battery dies. why do you think the new shuffle has special earbuds that only apple makes (as far as i know)? its so they can make money when you want to buy a new set of headphones. i could make a huge list of these things. sure apple is successful, but i absolutely hate how they handle these things. but most people just throw their money at them because of their name and their advertising. and for whoever says that macbooks are better because they cant get viruses. that is completely wrong. the only reason why they havent had many viruses in the past is because macs have a different operating system which hackers did not waste their time with. as macs become more popular more and more viruses will come around.

macbook are going to be a few hundred dollars more then an equivalent speed pc what are you using it for besides web surfing? like for me im majoring in engineering so im going to have to run all of those engineering programs, so it would make no sense to buy a mac since everything comes out for PC and i agree with lkr above. i hate when people say dells suck, or toshibas are better or something like that. it is such a crazy generalization. there are some really great dells as well as some crappy dells. there are some really great toshibas as well as some really crappy toshibas

at this point the mets should just bench all starters and give them extra rest for next year. i wouldn't be surprised if sananta would have played through this if the mets were in contention.

i dont care if there is a DH or not, but i think both leagues should be the same. it really doesnt make much sense to have different rules if i had to choose i would say both leagues no DH though. but id take both leagues with a DH over how it is now accidentally voted for the wrong one. i meant to vote for the first choice

when healthy and not depressed the eagles o-line could be great. they could pass some of the top 4 teams. but there are just so many question marks right now. everyone is hurt and no one knows what is going on with shawn andrews. the eagles brought in his brother and college roommate, so you have to think that he at least has a little more desire to play

baskett might be the worst of the 3, but it would be really hard to cut a 6'4" guy when all the other eagles receivers are tiny

i cant think of a single reason why it would be harder to manage an AL team. as phightins said, neither are easy, but there is no reason why it could be worse for an AL manager

its between baskett, gibson, and brown. if anyone votes for anyone but these guys then you have never seen an eagles game it is really a toss up between these guys though. baskett has the height, gibson has potential, and brown has experience. reid is not gonna enjoy this decision you could argue for any of these guys, but id go with brown

these rankings all depend on if it is a ppr league or not. forte > turner in PPR, turner > forte non-PPR. and portis and jacobs should not be on this. johnson and gore are both better then those 2 guys.

its obviously not rocket science, but it still way harder then setting ortiz as DH every game. and for NL it changes how you long can keep pitchers in also because you have to decide if you want to let the pitcher hit or pinch hit and lose him for the game. it affects how long you can leave your pitchers in. and there are other complications to it like when you start to run out of guys in a long game and other situations like that. you are just trying to convince people that the leagues are the same so you can say francona is the best manager
