back on topic....... i dont know how anyone can argue against lee. the guy has been absolutely amazing since he got here. 4 starts, 2 complete games, 3 earned runs which is a .82 ERA, 34 K's, 6 walks. that is flat out unbelievable. and dont forget that he has 5 hits including 2 doubles and a 2 runs in 4 games cliff lee has given up 3 runs and scored 2 runs himself. [expletive] washburn and victor, lee is beyond amazing right now

haha. maybe he will get kicker eligibility so he would be a WR/K. best fantasy kicker ever lol

ill start with the plax thing that i do feel bad for him too because i think his wife is pregnant. i agree with the ruling and that he could have gotten it much worse, but i just felt terrible when i heard that he has a kid on the way but for stallworth. the guys family are not gonna see him because he was a dumbass and jaywalked across a busy 45 mph road. i dont know what you expect by doing that. that is why i dont feel bad for the family at all. dont be dumb and dont get yourself in those situations. do you know if stallworth was high at the time or just had marijuana in his system, which means he could have smoked 2 weeks ago? he was barely over the legal alchohol limit, which does mean it is a DWI, but he could at least still know what was going on. its a different story if he was high at the time though. but the bottom line is that the guy was jaywalking across a busy 45 mph road. it is his own fault that he got hit. stallworth should have just gotten the DWI charges
-
yeah, its going way slower because he isnt picking for people what days is everyone free? if we all just got on aim it would be so much easier
-
it was a busy street and thespeed limit was 45 i believe. the guy decides to walk across themiddle of the busy street. it would have been tough for anyone tostop. and he was barely over the legal blood alchohol limit, its notlike he was totally [expletive]ed up. i still think he should have justgotten the DUI charge. its that dumbasses own fault that he tried tocross a busy road. how stupid can you be
-
shooting himself is not the crime. well it is endangering other people and he could have easily hit someone else instead of himself, but the main crime is that it was an illegal weapon. that is a very serious crime. he should have had more then 2, he got off easy
-
that is just flat out stupid. cain felt bad so he was seeing how he was and doing what he should do. it would have been an insult and showed that he did it on purpose if he didnt go up to him
-
he isnt talking about the bengals this year.....
-
thats just crazy

who cares if ortiz is bad right now or if they have a few injuries. that happens to every single team. but francona has had consistently good teams over the past few years. any manager who has the teams that he has had will seem like a great manager
-
but for GM, ruben amaro jr has a shot. he hasnt been a GM long enough for me to say that he is the best in the league, but i love his aggressive style and how he handled the trade deadline trades. he got what he wanted and gave up only what he wanted to. plus it doesnt hurt to be an assistant behind pat gillick for a couple years. gillick was an amazing GM

the best manager cant be from the AL. NL managers have to do so much more with pinch hitting for pitchers and all the decisions along with it. the only way i would give it to an AL manager is if he had success in the NL also
-
he is old, not good enough to lead a team to the superbowl.
-
hes going to jail, but if he wasnt then i would be all for this. he is a beast
-
no, you pick a different team each week. you dont have to pick the lions or something and i dont know for ties. it doesnt happen enough to worry about
-
i used to like favre but this is just stupid. he is an absolute attention whore. i hope he sucks and loses the starting job
-
get as many people on OTR to join this its on yahoo. league ID= 7615 password football and for anyone who has never played survival football before. each week you choose one team. if they win then you continue to the next week. if they lose then you are done. you can only pick a team once. its very simple, but it harder then it seems
-
hell yeah
-
i already got out of mine, didnt realize people were copying them into here. but mine was kinda right, but i feel like it was so general that it is going to be at least somewhat right for everyone

we arent talking about just in a shootout. and offensive linemen are so much more important in the running game then the passing game. a great o-line can make a bad RB look good. some random backup RB with an amazing o-line would do better then peterson with a [expletive]ty line. we saw that with shaun alexander a few years back. he wasnt that good, but that o-line was great and made him look like the best RB in the league. you cant say that a WR is more important then an OL and you cant say that an OL is more important then a WR. its comparing apples to oranges. both positions are incredibly important and they can succeed without the other position doing well
-
that man is certainly more manly then this young fella http://img19.imageshack.us/img19/4649/chrisqnv.jpg i like the red suspenders
-
yeah. i was talking more about offense about him not having an impact right now. he looked great on those returns last game, he could have a huge year with that
-
that was the best go cowboys that i have ever heard
-
bolt and phelps are great, but it has to be tiger. he choked yesterday, but its gonna take way more then that to convince me that he isnt the most dominant person in sports

[expletive] you! i am going to break into your house and steal your tickets
