it is a good move. worst case scenario, he is still as good or better then lopez. best case scenario, he could be a #2 or 3 and use his experience to lead the team in the playoffs ill take my chances

boucher is the streakiest player ever though. he had that streak on phoenix when he had w/e straight shutout periods, but there were also times where he was awful. you cant judge him just by his number of shutouts. im not saying he is bad though and i think emery will be fine. im sure the flyers talked to him like crazy before signing him and know a ton more about him then everyone else. i trust holmgren and i think emery will be fine

emery was signed as the starter and they signed boucher as the backup its so funny that they got boucher back. when i was little i used to love that guy. i dont really know why (because he wasnt that good). he was originally why i had the 33 in my old sn (flyersrule9733).

LMAO 14 points is fine. thats all they would need from him. we cant afford a great, young RW, but there is a big hole to fill and there is probably nothing out there better then shanahan. who cares if he just wants to hop on to win a cup, thats what all veterans are trying to do. 1 million is nothing. he is a great player, obviously not what he was, but if you can get him for that cheap and he can score a couple goals and show some leadership for guys like JVR and giroux to follow then i would take him any day. obviously he isnt going to score 50 goals like he did when he was younger, but its the leadership and experience that the flyers could use. not to mention he can still score a few goals. and note- coming in the middle the season is extremely difficult, and it is very rare to see a player in any sport do it and play well. he will be much better off with training camp and knowing his teamates if he were to sign here

interference is usually pretty easy to avoid, but the cross-checking and elbowing are very annoying. i hate when you are right behind a guy going to get the puck and you hit him and get a penalty. sometimes it isnt a penalty, but usually it is that same animation of the guy smashing his face into the boards. i hate that but hitting it out of the air and gloving it down are going to be really helpful. cant believe it took this long to do it

hes not gonna be getting major minutes. and you need some veterans too. flyers have all young forwards with knuble gone. look at every successful team and they have a good mix, pittsburgh had guerin, satan, and another guy or two. almost every single successful team has a few veterans. shanahan would be a great signing

i cant wait for this game. im sure they will fix the scoring glitches, but there will probably be different ones next year anyway, so it doesnt really matter. plus lift stick is way to effective. but some of these things seem really cool. i honestly cant see myself using the stuff against the boards very often, but i am just looking for the other ingame fixes cant wait for this

yeah, absolutely no way they trade him to someone in the AL east. that would be absolutely stupid. that takes the red sox and yankees out of it but the giants would just be flat out scary if they got him. all they would need is to be able to score a couple runs each game and they would be unbeatable in the playoffs.
