http://tsn.ca/nhl/story/?id=283991 sad to see him go. no doubt HoF. he has been the face of the avalanche and the league for a long long time.

no one is ever captainless. im sure they will give it to someone

something that has helped me a lot. join your school's group on facebook. like rutgers class of 2013 for me. at least for rutgers there is a gigantic topic that people just asked questions and a few people who are already at rutgers answered them. there are tons of questions about what to bring and what the school supplies and stuff like that. i also went to last years group and the year before and read through threads like that. you can find a lot of good info that way. answered so many of my questions

anaheim is turning into a damn good young team. getzlaf, perry, ryan, lupul, loaded with first round picks, and a few other guys. they are gonna be scary for quite a few years
-
yeah, it is super front-loaded i believe. chances are he isnt going to play the full 7 years, but im sure they knew that when he signed it and money aside i would take shanahan any day. flyers dont need him to be a top line player, they just need him as a 2nd-3rd line player and probably help out on the PK. if they can get him for cheap then i would love the signing
-
obviously no, but hamels has shown that he can handle it. its not a disadvantage to tim, its just an advantage to hamels and i agree with a few people, i love cole hamels, but lincecum is just a better pitcher. there really isnt much to argue. tim is probably a top 3 pitcher in the league, and has a good shot at taking that #1 spot when he gets more experince
-
that would be amazing. and your right, no way they trade him to the yankees, which would have probably been the main threat
-
him getting ejected was the worst call or the strike call? the strike call was awful, but he he should have been thrown out when he did
-
same

i might be interested if im home for whenever we do it

i was disapointed, the phillies offense really sucked today. they need a lot of work if they want to score any runs
-
mcnair simply because i dont really listen to music. jackson passing away really doesnt mean anything to me edit- im not saying that its not sad that died, its that it didnt have an impact on me.

everyone's hearts say that he should be. its a really sad story, but unfortunately i dont think he was good enough for long enough to get in. he is still a respected player, but i dont know about HoF worthy -

oh wow. very sad, RIP -
and OSU, i think you said you were also engineering. i would suggest getting a PC because all the technical programs are written for PC, not mac. so unless you are already in love with macs i would suggest a PC so you dont have to deal with all the crap associated with running those programs
-
yeah, unless you are in love with macs you can get a faster pc for way less then 2400. i just spend around 1700-1800 on a laptop which is barely slower then the one you said above. slightly slower processor, but you arent gonna need more then 2.66 which is what i had. and i also got a 4 year warranty that covers everything included in that price and i got a studio 15 (15 for 15 inch), 2.66 gHz 6mb cache, 4 gig ram, 320 gb hard drive (like 7200 or something like that for speed), an upgraded graphics card, HD screen (included in my package), and a 4 year warranty. i think it was around 1800, probably less and i would have gotten a much slower, but i will need it to run engineering and design programs
