My buddy lives just outside of Detroit and growing up it was hard to watch away games because the start time was around 10 pm in the city so a lot of younger fans aren't able to catch many games, especailly during the week.

Nothing better than a holiday and a nice win. You can change the jerseys, name and location but you are still the Atlanta Thrashers. Montreal should wait till November to play their starters because we are having horrible luck. Cammy, Campoli and even a player we pick off waivers is already injured.

Islanders would be a great team to start rooting for. Not sure where you live but Sabres are pretty far. Rangers are the Rangers and Devils will have a lot of changes in the upcoming years.

Kinda pissed I gotta miss opening night working the elections but sounds like we might be missing a couple regulars. Looking forward to the Gorges-Campoli pairing. They looked smooth in the few times I've seen them in preseason together. It's also a big break for Diaz who I figured would start the season in Hamilton but is ahead of Yemelin in the depth chart.
