Like CMS said, Calderon is pretty much better than most of the free agents and expires next year so it is not bad. MLSE is all about the money but when it comes to the Raptors, being cheap is not what they are aiming for. If anything, Raptors are the weak link in the barrage of sports teams and would like them to make some noise.

Dwight over Brook would be great but keeping everything isn't terrible either. Brook and Brooks could raise their trade value with a full season on this roster and who knows what we could trade for? Could maybe keep more potential and get someone whose starter worthy, but not as costly.

Can't really judge the Nets roster at all. Almost none of the roster is coming back and even if Lopez is back, he never played beside Wallace either.

No and No. Just don't see them beating a healthy Bulls or Heat team. If Dwight would have opted out this summer, I'd easily say yes and yes.

Personally I think Cuban seems happy with a championship. Rather than trying for a repeat he went to save money. According to reports he didn't even offer Williams the full amount he could have. I don't think they'd ever trade Dirk but would be neat to see what the return would be.

Could got more potential with lower salary via free agency. Like you guys said, Raptors need a big but why bring back something that didn't produce last season?

I was getting so excited to see Lopez and Anderson play again. If they do end up dealing Dwight for him I think they'll miss out big time and end up like Nets fans wishing he stayed.

Love his attitude already. Seems well liked in Europe so will be great to see how well he does. Top European player is risky but better than using Hump again.

Would be pretty funny considering what he did to the Knicks during his time with the Nets. I miss the Tim Thomas/Kenyon Martin battles.

Clearly it has something to do with money considering what a great season he had in Philly and I consider him "Russian" do the the fact he's bolted once for the KHL. If Radulov can get $10 million a season there, Jagr could get at least $25 mil but nothing beats NHL hockey.

I understand Jagr has already got the rings but you think he might have some interest in winning another rather than the money. Russians take a completely different approach than North American skaters (not all but most).

He had some idea before the final season yet let the Cavs trade for the likes of Shaq, Jamison and other pieces.

Lots of people said that about Phoenix...but Toronto also has nowhere near the potential of players and Nash is also what, five years older? Never understood why they let Colo be in charge of the rebuild.

Yeah I find it almost impossible to see Kanye coming to any games if he is. I don't mind this deal if we are pushing on without Howard. Evans and Lopez could be a nice combination or you can bring him off the bench since we got crushed on the glass once the starters went off (and that's saying a lot when it's Petro and Hump).
