I know he most likely would not sign with the Nets in the offseason hence why it's pointless to trade starters and picks for a guy but you clearly can't rule out Nets of having zero percent chance because by the offseason, the roster could be completely different. You keep using New Jersey as a "different city" yet I clearly wrote how most of the Nets players live in New York. Heck, right now the Nets have one of the better arenas in the NBA and they are getting something world class to play in New York City. As for the money issue, Carmelo was on the Forbes richest people under twenty. If I've added it correctly he has made $120 million dollars and the guy is a mere 26 years old. Like you I don't know what's going on with him since we don't know him but there is a point where money isn't worth sacraficing being on a loser for the next five years.....just ask Baron Davis.

You do realize almost all the Nets players live in New York? It's not about NY and NJ for him IMO, he wants to play with his buds and one of his buds is on a certian team. If the Nets planned for Melo, then they'd just traded less for Paul and hope he thinks Lopez/Paul is a better duo than Amare and whatever they have. I really don't understand what the point you are trying to make. Are you saying the Nets need to trade two superstars or the Nuggets will let him walk to New York City?

Haha game over that fast! I'm not even complaining that Montreals penalties weren't penalties but the Wings had several calls in the first that could have been penalties but Montreal was up by one. It's great when you have Ovechkin and Crosby on your team but when your missing an offensive centerpeice and your team can barely score as it is, it's complete bull[expletive]!

...and just like I said, now they will look to make it even for Montreal. [expletive].

Then why would they trade two starters for a guy that you state: "There's no way in hell Melo signs with Nets in the summer".

It's great when Swedish ref is in when we play the Red Wings. Montreal gets the lead then gets four straight penalties including a full two minute five on three where they score with one second left in the period. Reffing in hockey has to be one of the worst in sports. They make the games stay close which really isn't fair.

Well I'm a Melo fan and I really don't think just being a playoff team would be satisfying and that is all we'd be with Melo. Add that to the fact that Favors will be in the starting lineup soon so we'd be trading away two starters for a position we just signed until 2014. If he wants to come play in Brooklyn then great, we can try and get him in the off-season rather than trading draft picks when we are already not that good of a team.

The biggest problem with Burke is that he loves the spotlight. I know MLSE didn't want the rebuild either but standing put and watching the Leafs fall to the bottom is not his style which is why I never really understood why they grabbed a trigger happy GM when they needed somebody with patience. I actually enjoy watching this years Leafs team but still find Burke extremely overrated considering his Stanley Cup ring was gift wrapped from Edmonton. Plus you cannot watch a Leafs game without seven or eight shots of Burke watching the game.

He can't go to the AHL because he's too young but he's way too good to be back in the OHL. It kinda sucks for him because like many young guys on winning teams, you don't always get the ice time you need like Steven Stamkos gets because his team was a stinker.

I'd much rather have Outlaw as our sixth man and like you said, give James a look.

I'm not suggesting how anyone should help but it's lazy. I know I help with Big Brothers and Big Sisters and know people who do fundraisers going door to door to help raise money while I see people actually thinking they are helping by putting a cartoon up which a child abuser can easily do too. It doesn't mean you "care" really. Like I said above a child abuser can put his picture of a Pokemon and does that show they care? I'm not getting into a huge arguement over it but I just laugh at people who think they make a difference in the world by updating facebook.
