It's not really a lose-lose situation when one is losing a couple million and signing where you please compared to losing a top ten player, Why would any team give the full value when they know if he truly wants to be there, they can wait one full NBA season?

Nets would not trade that if Melo wasn't extended and I doubt any NBA team will give up any good value if he won't resign either. My offer would be Terrence Williams, Damion James along with the Nets and Golden State's first round pick. Denver has not much leverage and those draft picks could easily be worth a lot right now since we sucked so much last year. What's the point of destroying the roster because you trade for Melo to win now. We kinda screwed ourselves by getting so close to salary cap because we cannot trade just young guys for him. Maybe if there was a way to work Billups into it so our starting point gaurd wouldn't be Jordan Farmar or even trade Murphy when he's tradable in a package for Kenyon and Melo. I highly doubt we move Devin so close to the season with his relationship to Avery and really that's the only way we can swing a deal to fit Melo in.

Melo isn't being traded without being extended so you wouldn't have to worry about that.

Depends. Basketball has USA so dominant while sports like hockey have Russia, Sweden, USA, Canada and others equal in most years so it makes a medal harder to earn IMO.

Yeah that trade definately would not happen. If the Nuggets wanted expiring contracts then they'd just let Melo leave. They will want Terrence, Derrick and the rest of the youth with picks.

When I had to wear one for football, I had it tied to my helmet because I always let it hang out. It's really tough to talk with and very incomfortable most of the time so maybe that's it.

We can offer the best package out of all the teams but no difference here than Denver so unless he wants a challange, I doubt he comes here. The trio killed any hope for Nets landing a superstar.

Guy Boucher gets his starting goalie from his AHL team for Karri Ramo who is in the KHL...doesn't make much sense for Montreal.

Courtney Lee isn't garbage. He is like a James Posey or Bruce Bowen who is great on a winning team but on a losing team it's hard to see the positive but he's just entering his third year and with a real head coach, I can see him having a fantastic year.

Not always. I hated Vince Carter before and when we got him because if you've disliked that person, there was a reason for it. He gained respect in my eyes for helping the Nets reach the playoffs but because a douche suddenly is wearing the same jersey I represent, doesn't mean I have to represent that player.
