  1. Iggy would be the top guy, but doubt Philly would ever even entertain trading him here. I think Butler would be best, but he's pretty ball dominant and with Hedo and the Killer Bs, its tough to say he'll have more of an impact, unless he finds a way to get some more touches.
  2. I've never thought of it like this. I can't say either way; Rookies have a curious nature to them that makes them entertaining, but vets have found their niche and have identified their role in the game. It's a case by case basis.
  3. In three days, ESPN will have a report that says: "Bosh to Portland, Roy and Bosh!" or "Bosh to Sacramento, Bosh and Evans!" Essentially ESPN wants Bosh to anyone BUT Toronto. Expect ESPN to ignore this and think of other opportunities for Bosh to be traded or anyway out of Toronto.
  4. I read a report somewhere (I think RealGM), that Howard expects that if he is dealt, it will be Toronto or Miami. That's all i got for now, it'd be cool to get a wing like that, but I need to see what we'd give up especially without a first this year to make a deal more attractive.
  5. Halftime of the game added to the United States belief that we are 20 years behind them. <_<
  6. Man, Nets were on fire to start the 2nd, and Raptors were literally dead. If it wasn't for that span, this game is a blowout
  7. Overall points form the game - Bosh played excellent, man possessed - Bargnani had trouble on Hibbert to start the game, then when he got into him, Hibbert was already in a rhythm and hitting tougher shots - Andrea was dirty in the 3rd, too bad the rest of the team couldn't defend. This after after Bosh picked up 3 quick fouls. - Belinelli started very well but when the Raptors made a run near the middle of the 4th, Beli was ice cold - The point guards were pretty bad. Jose got hurt, and didn't return. Jack was awful and Jose wasn't much better. Even when Banks played he chucked. - Sonny had a lot of troubles on Granger. - Wright was okay, but with Sonny playing bad and Belinelli going ice cold, he was left to help out and he couldn't do it. - Amir and Jose have a nice chemistry and Amir wasn't too bad - The Refs were inconsistent. Not really bad calls, but more couldn't set a standard on how to call the game. Made it frustrating. - Thank God we don't play Indiana anymore. Toronto + Indiana = bad and boring basketball, despite what the score says.
  8. This loss, doesn't surprise me. Sucks, but of the next 4 if you said we'd lose 1, I'd say this one. I'm upset we lost, but not at all surprised.
  9. If Bosh gets help, we should win. He needs help.
  10. He's pretty bad himself, so i dunno about this for you guys.
  11. I like seeing District 9 nominated for Best Picture. It won't win, but I thought it was incredible.
  12. Def Steve, so entertaining. Paul is entertaining as well, but I love everything Steve does, minus the lack of D, but it's cool.
  13. http://a.espncdn.com/media/apphoto/8e1d9627-b1f0-4644-a6b2-318719520fad.jpg http://espn.go.com/nba/powerrankings?year=2010&week=14 This is an awesome sign to see. The Raptors are not the 7th best team in the NBA, but they are playing as well as most teams in the league. The comeback wins have been great showing they have not only the skill to comeback, but the determination to get back into those games. There are so many reasons for this rise but all myself and other Raptor fans hope for is a continued rise up rankings. Though winning the division is still improbable at best for the Raptors, being only 4.5 games behind Boston for the division lead since they were behind them double digits in early December, is a great sign. Now, don't [expletive] it up. Also, no source yet, but apparently Hedo will travel to Indiana but DeMar will not.
  14. So we have 4 games left before the All-Star break and they are all against sub .500 teams with only one road game in that span. All games are winnable when you could argue the best team we play in that span is the Kings, and we get them on a Sunday 12pm tip, a time that usually favours the Raptors. The Pacers game scares me because of the fact they shoot like nothing else. This is a game Bosh needs to take control of and attack. With Hedo and DeMar questionable, Wright and Weems need to keep excelling in there roles. Rasho and Johnson also need to keep up there good play as well. The Nets game on the 2nd of back-to-backs scares me only of embarrassment. Either way, Bosh needs to take this team and make them understand that winning the next four, could be absolutely massive from a confidence perspective going in the All-Star break. There is nothing else to say, except. Ball.
  15. Grammys will always be a joke. I can't stand them.
