If the NFL/NBA Lockout....

One would think. But from what I am reading it doesn't look good. -
If the NFL/NBA Lockout....

Considering I like MLB and NHL better than either of them, I will be OK . -
Torres Sanchez Huff Posey Burrell Ross Uribe Renteria Sanchez Rollins Polanco Utley Howard Werth Victorino Ibanez Ruiz Oswalt Very interesting/surprising Phillies lineup. JRoll leading off, Polly not in between Utley and Howard, Ibanez playing instead of Francisco. Didn't really expect any of this. Jimmy has been making solid contact lately, and he stole those 2 bases in game 5, so I guess that swayed Charlie.

This. And the other team from NY (no offense Fishy).

Yeah. You can be bankrupt and still somehow allowed to spend big at the trade deadline. Only in baseball my friend .

ALCS Discussion: New York Yankees vs. Texas Rangers

I know exactly what you are saying...I just don't think he is that kind of guy, and he strikes me as the type of guy who will not change no matter how much money/fame he gets. He will be a Yankee, though. -

While you are right about where he is going, Cliff Lee is not a "money and fame" guy. He will go there, though, because nobody will offer him anything close to what the Yankees can/will, so he'd obviously be foolish to turn it down. -

Shut up, Kingfish. -
So, the Flyers play the Leafs tomorrow night at 7. The Flyers supposedly wanted to change it to a 1:00 game, because the Phillies will be playing at either 4 or 8 (depending on the outcome of tonight's Yankees/Rangers game). But they were not allowed to move it, because it is on Hockey Night in Canada. So basically, Hockey Night in Canada is responsible for the epic traffic nightmare in South Philadelphia tomorrow night.

Sadly they don't have anyone better. TBS is just horrible with baseball coverage from top to bottom. -

Ernie Johnson is brutal as play-by-play guy. He has no clue what is going on. -

Oh, I wasn't even talking about this game. Just in general. It's a total fraud and it's amazing that some people actually think they are accurate. -

TBS' Pitch Trax needs to die...right now. As does Fox's...and ESPN's....and any other station that has one. Biggest farce in pro sports. -

Whoever had "final out of the top of the 1st" in the "when will we have our first blown call in game 6" pool, you are a winner! Took just as long for Ernie Johnson's first terrible call, too. Even if that throw would have somehow rightly gotten Granderson out, the ball Molina threw was hardly a "strike", EJ. EDIT nevermind he was out! Still a terrible call by EJ though! -
Is he still rocking Gaston the lumberjack?

All I know is that if a certain guy that wears orange and #13 did that, he'd be sitting for a lot longer than 6 games. Same goes for a lot of guys, probably. Pretty sad how biased the league is with this stuff. I know track record should play into the decision, but not this much.

Only 6 games for Rypien. Wow...I was expecting way more.
