  1. Your boy PK is getting called up for tonight's game.
  2. 1. Rank the following from sexiest to least sexy: David Wright, Tony Romo, Jose Reyes, Carlos Beltran's mole, Mike Pelfrey 2. Why the hell do you like the Cowboys?? 3. Rank the following from sexiest to least sexy: Chase Utley, Jayson Werth, Jimmy Rollins, Shane Victorino 4. Favorite Philadelphia team? 5. Favorite OTR Philadelphia fan?
  3. There's a chance Halladay will go Saturday. It will be his 5th day, since the Phillies have off on Thursday. They have been throwing him out there every 5th day so far. It all depends on if they want to give Kyle Kendrick another chance on Saturday. Also Joe Blanton will probably be ready to go at some point in that series, so it wouldn't shock me at all if Halladay pitches Saturday, Blanton pitches Sunday, and Kendrick gets shipped to Lehigh Valley. But if ESPN has anything to say about it, you know it will be Halladay/Santana on Sunday night haha.
  4. Matchups for Phillies/Giants series... Tomorrow: Roy Halladay vs. Jonathan Sanchez Tuesday: Jamie Moyer vs. Todd Wellemeyer Wednesday: Cole Hamels vs. Tim Lincecum Would be cool if Halladay and Lincecum had the same game.
  5. Lol, he will be back in AAA as soon as J-Roll is healthy (hopefully soon, he took BP the other day). 3rd string shortstop. It was just nice to see him have a good game in his first start.
  6. On a bright note...Wilson Valdez can pick it and has a very good arm. And he even got 2 hits today. Thanks Mets .
  7. I try not to, I realize that calling balls and strikes consistently is the hardest thing for an official in pro sports to do. But Dale Scott has been brutal. Kyle Kendrick and David Herndon got squeezed like crazy. Herndon had Drew and Reynolds both struck out in the last inning. Obviously, it would have been nice if he was able to put them away regardless of the poor calls, but it doesn't change the fact that both should have been struck out and wound up putting the D-Backs ahead with their extra life. Also, the strike zone has expanded by at least 6 inches in all 4 directions here in the top of the 9th with the Phillies batting. If you are going to squeeze a pitcher, fine, but do it for both sides please.
  8. Also, I suppose Dale Scott feels like he owes the D-Backs for that 4 base error he called on Friday night. He is the home plate ump today, and barring a 9th inning comeback from the Phillies, he is the reason the Diamondbacks are winning this game.
  9. Phillippe Aumont threw 6 no-hit innings today in Reading before being taken out of the game (not sure why, probably a high pitch count).
  10. No suspension for Marian Hossa. Now I'd be REALLY pissed off if I was a Nashville Predoators fan.
  11. I am fine with Graham. We need a pass rushing DE just as much as we need a safety. Graham fills a big need, just as Thomas would have.
  12. I'd be shocked if Cooper doesn't make the team. But who knows, that is what training camp/preseason is for.
  13. I don't want to get involved in the Mays debate, but this really stood out to me. Are you kidding me? I'd say the fact that Earl Thomas was on the board was more of a factor in the Seahawks not drafting Mays, not Carroll thinking Mays is a bad football player.
  14. Te'O-Nesheim in the third round is still a bit weird to me. They must really like him/have thought somebody picking soon after wanted him too. Otherwise, I am actually liking this group more and more.
  15. Man.....I really hope they find a way to sign Jayson Werth to an extension. Also, it was nice to see Ryan Madson throw a (relatively) clean 9th inning. His cutter looks very good. Seems like that is the choice pitch that everybody is trying to throw more this year.
  16. Yeah. Tickets are so hard to come by this year too. So plan in advance, lol.
  17. Fish, come down here next Saturday afternoon for the game. You'll get to meet me and Diesel
  18. Welp, the NHL's double sided rule book has struck again. I'd be pretty upset right now if I were a Nashville Predators fan.

  20. Yeah I think Jason Campbell is a good QB. Kind of got a [expletive]ty deal in Washington. Hopefully Oakland will be a better fit for him.
  21. Nelson Figueroa gets the start tonight...
  22. Eagles are quietly having a very impressive draft, IMO, despite trading down so many times last night. Would have liked a center at some point, but there are still a couple more rounds I guess. I am surprised Riley Cooper made it down to the 5th round. And he was a Phillies draft pick in 2006, but obviously didn't sign. Pretty funny that he winds up being a pro athlete in Philadelphia after all.
  23. Well, the Eagles are attacking their needs big time. I can't really complain, to be honest. Would have liked a corner sooner, with one of those picks they traded away, maybe. But at least they realize what their problems are and aren't [expletive]ing around.
  24. Well, I still don't think it is BS, because until the umpire signals out, it is a live ball. That is why you use two hands, and care needs to be taken with the exchange/getting the ball back in. Which leads me to my next point...what the hell was Justin Upton doing on that play? They easily could have held Werth at 2nd if they weren't just staring at the ump saying "wtf?".
