He does have a douche side to him, yes. But I will never understand why you and so many other Red Sox fans hate him for performance. His numbers are otherworldly. I guess you guys were just spoiled by him, so every time he had an off night and lost a lead, it was panic time? Maybe now that he is gone you will see what every non-Yankee fan has had to deal with at some point in the last 10 years with the back of their bullpen.

I am not sure an arena upgrade would do anything for the shitty ice. Prudential Center and Consol Energy Center are two of the newer arenas in the league, and they both have awful ice. Not to mention, MSG has more events each year than any other stadium in America (I believe). Constantly covering/uncovering the ice as many times as they have to there can't be good for it either.

I think it was around $200 for me. It might be different depending on who your cable provider is though. I have no clue. Also it gets less expensive later in the season.

I live in South Jersey and have the same problem (although I don't pay for YES, it comes standard with my cable package for w/e reason). Get all of the programming, no games though. MLB just sucks when it comes to these things. You have to get Extra Innings or mlb.tv if you want to watch local broadcasts of games that aren't in your market. If your cable network didn't tell you this before you bought YES, that is really beat. I'd try getting my money back.

Wondering if Bill Miller or Bob Davidson will get punished. Highly doubtful, but both would deserve it. Getting sick of these cocky umpires taking over games.

Significantly more Giants fans. Also, officials are quickly losing control of this PHX/LA game.

So we finally have a three game winning streak. That is nice, but this team is still a hot mess. Seeing Diekman dominate in his debut this afternoon was certainly a breath of fresh air, though. Also, the Pence trade is looking worse and worse by the day, today's homeruns aside.

The Washington Nationals did the same thing to Phillies fans a few weeks ago. In the StubHub age, it is just dumb.

I love Shaq, Barkley, and the fans everywhere saying it was a bad call because "it never gets called late in the game" blah blah blah. Hollinger put it best. The illegal screen was called because it was, well....illegal. And if they called it every time Garnett tried it, we'd have won by 30. Also, I wouldn't exactly say Andre is "clutch" offensively, but he has certainly come up huge at the end of our last two wins.

Splitting on the road to kick off the series is ideal, but considering how awful that one loss was, I can't help but be a bit annoyed. I'll settle for this though. Oh yeah, Lavoy needs to start over Spencer in game 3.

In my opinion, Brodeur has not looked particularly good this postseason. He was not tested at all in the Flyers series. Not hard to win games when you are only facing one shot every 10 minutes. If the Rangers can get any sustained pressure at all, I think they will win the series and it won't be particularly close.The Rangers defense, as a whole, is not nearly as slow as the Flyers defense, so I don't see the Devils forecheck being able to dominate like it did against us.

I guess. Not sure I'd put any of that on him individually though. But I know that a large portion of national sports media isn't too intelligent, so I get it.

Nix DL'd, Sanches and Savery optioned, Diekman, Valdes, and Luna coming up. Fantastic and long overdue on Diekman. I really don't see the point of Valdes over Savery, but I guess Rube is just trying to go for a new look. Dumb philosophy, but also expected.
