Well Fox in general will always push the Yankees since they bring in the ratings. The thing that bothers me most about McCarver is that he is just a pure idiot, haha. I have no clue how he has had this job as long as he has. He is so clueless and annoying.

Buck and McCarver are horrible, but the TBS guys are so so much worse.

Ok, what's your point? It is common knowledge that the two most hated teams of Mets fans are the Phillies and the Yankees, and there is a good chance they will meet in the World Series. You don't mind the Yankees? Well that's good for you, but I know plenty of Mets fans who hate 'em.

Because he is jealous of the Yankees and because Philadelphia is a town of ruthless murderous savages, duh.

Selfishly, I hope this series somehow gets extended to 7 games haha.

If he didn't constantly talk trash about the people of Philadelphia, I would not have said anything. But because of his constant hatred, it makes this feel even better. I guess in that respect I can now empathize a bit with Yankees fans, and the Lakers fans of OTR. And I am not ready to say whether or not the Phillies will win the World Series, but I am glad you believe so strongly that they cannot. It's not like we haven't seen that one before. The national "experts" have overwhelmingly picked against the Phillies in each of their past four postseason series', and it will absolutely be the case this time around too, whether we are against the Yankees or Angels. So just keep that in mind. Everybody was so certain we'd be swept by the Rays last year, and that we'd be out in 6 against the Dodgers both this year and last year.

I cannot put into words how amazing this night was. My ears are still ringing. Also, the fact that ECN hates Philadelphia so much and is so upset about us winning makes it feel even better.

You sound like a bitter Mets fan. A Phillies/Yankees World Series is their worst nightmare. And seeing that happen would bring great joy to me. But I should not get ahead of myself, the Phillies still need one more win against the Los Angeles Dodgers.
