  1. Yeah I think the Eagles would have preferred Feeley, but he has a much better opportunity in Carolina. Not hard to see why he went there.
  2. Andy has said that Kolb is starting no matter what if McNabb is out this week. That's what makes this even more curious to me. I think it's safe to say that Garcia is getting cut as soon as McNabb is healthy. Only reason I could think Garcia would want to come here for 2 weeks is to audition for somebody, but apparently he is not even going to play, he is just an insurance policy for Kolb.
  3. Happ pitched in the postseason last year. I am leaning towards Pedro as well but just because I think Happ could be better used in the pen. I'd be totally confident with him starting too.

  5. Just reported on Daily News Live. I can't find a link as of now, but will post one as soon as possible. Anyway, I'll be damned. Never thought Garcia would sign here for a 2 week period. Or will it be longer than that? [expletive], no clue what's going on here.
  6. Yeah. And also, not saying I don't trust Jay Glazer's word or anything, but I don't think he has officially been ruled out. Andy said yesterday that he wouldn't know anything until this morning at the earliest. Everything depended on how he felt after the night. And the latest I heard is that Donovan is going to try his hardest to play next week. Now I cannot fathom how somebody could possibly play football with broken ribs, so I am not holding my breath, but nothing is official. EDIT: Yeah, this is from the Philadelphia Inquirer's Eagles blog, from about ten minutes ago: http://www.philly.com/philly/sports/Reid_McNabb_will_try_to_play.html So, doesn't look like anything is official.
  7. Well it isn't as simple as that. It will come down to him and Happ though. Only reason I think Pedro will wind up in the rotation and Happ will wind up in the bullpen is because of the uncertainty with Romero and Eyre. Great problem to have though. Five guys who can make great cases to be in a postseason rotation. Even Jamie Moyer has pitched well in long relief/his start yesterday. This team has not been this deep ever, I don't think.
  8. I was just messing with you. Pedro has honestly been great since we signed him though (with the one exception being his start up at Citi Field, where he wasn't horrible but certainly not good). I think he has pitched himself into the postseason rotation.
  9. Holy [expletive].... Pedro still has it. Wow.
  10. I would honestly be more comfortable with Kolb than Vick taking most of the snaps. Vick wasn't good enough to run this offense before going to jail for 2 years and he certainly isn't now. Not saying Kolb is good but Vick will not be the answer either. We just have to hope McNabb gets back as soon as possible.
  11. Michael Vick is eligible to return week 3 vs. Kansas City.
  12. There's no way Garcia comes for just 1-2 games. I don't even know if Feeley would. We are stuck with Kolb.
  13. On a side note, Andy Reid would not say for sure whether or not Donovan will miss any time, saying "we will take it day by day". I see no way he plays next week if it's definitely a broken rib but hey, who knows.
  14. Haha yeah I figured. But I dunno, personally I am hoping they bring Feeley back. I'd feel more comfortable with him over either Kolb or Vick to be honest. Vick looked very shaky in the preseason, and the 2 weeks of no practice cannot be helping.
  15. We are stuck with Kolb for next week. Vick is not eligible until week 3. Derrick Gunn is speculating that they are already trying to bring Feeley back.
  16. McNabb has cracked ribs and will miss a minimum of 2-4 weeks...
  17. Ok? Well in this case it was good and it wound up being his ribs.
  18. Kendrick was awesome today. Way more life on his fastball and he actually throws a decent changeup now. Looks like the season in the minor leagues did him well.
  19. Probably. No reason to put him back out there with the score like it is now.
  20. Yeah thank goodness. I am sure Diesel is chomping at the bit to come on here and tell us how bad Kolb sucks.
  21. Yeah. When he first went down and was squirming and grabbing the knee I thought it was the ACL, but it was great to see him walk off the field.
  22. Mother [expletive]er.....please be alright Donovan.
  23. Wow....love what they have done so far.
