Pisses me off what little attention this gets in the US. [expletive]ing ESPN. On the night of the draft, they took a grand total of 10 seconds for their NHL coverage. Mentioned that Tavares went first, and then said "oh yeah if anybody cares the Flyers got Chris Pronger...". I am expecting more of the same tomorrow. I am jealous, Canadians.

I don't know anything about any of the guys we have drafted, so thanks for that info. I do know that a lot of Flyers fans seem really excited about Riopel. He definitely should get a shot to play with the Phantoms right away, or at least I'd think so. There will be a lot of shuffling around with the goalies in the organization, so I'd guess the Phantoms job will be up for grabs. Also all I could think of is the NBA Adam Morrison when the Flyers made their pick.

I am praying that Knuble will take a home town discount to stay here. I know his family really likes the area and he did say that money isn't everything to him, but with that said we probably couldn't offer him anywhere close to his market value. He'd be taking a significant pay cut if he were to stay, so I am not getting my hopes up. As for the backup goalie situation, I am hearing that they might just use one of the kids from within the organization, either Scott Munroe or Johan Backlund, or maybe somebody else, with the idea of having the lowest possible cap hit. They really want 65-70 games out of Emery, I guess.

I heard something on DNL about a possible Miller sign-and-trade with Portland where we'd get Steve Blake in return. Think that'd be a better option?

Bobby Abreu would not shock me either, although I'd certainly hope it isn't true. He was a skinny little kid when he first came up to the majors, and now he is a pretty big dude.

I think 67-70 were on the Mets that year. Abreu and Terry Adams were the only ones on the Phillies that year.

I am hoping that whoever has the real "list" can have it burned, shredded, completely destroyed, whatever, before it gets leaked. I just want to forget about all of this. Of course I am dreaming and that will never happen.

Well, this clearly wasn't just thrown together randomly, the players are grouped by their 2003 teams if you look closely. Also, it seems like a lot of those guys have Mets connections, and remember the main steroid distributor worked in the Mets clubhouse back then. I won't believe it for sure until I see it released by a more legit source, but I have seen this floating around various blogs over the past week or so. It might be legit. We knew about most of these guys already anyway.

I find it to be really boring to be honest. And I don't find baseball to be boring. It is all up to the opinion of the individual.

I would counter with "soccer isn't that great, it's just a bunch of pussies running up and down a field and diving all the time. Once in a blue moon there will be a goal. Nothing special". I am sure there is more to it than that though, right?

People who don't know or like soccer find it to be very boring, and the same goes for baseball. That is what I am saying.

A soccer fan calling baseball boring (or vise versa) really is the pot calling the kettle black. Both are incredibly boring to people who don't know anything about them.

Looks like Carlos Carrasco will be making his MLB debut on Thursday.

It will be awesome if Bouwmeester and Calgary don't come to an agreement LOL. Also, I am really hoping the Flyers can bring back Knuble but we are so tight against the cap so I am not getting my hopes up. I hear Pittsburgh wants to offer him a big contract...
