I love Doug, so I don't want to put this on him, but there definitely seems to be a disconnect between him and certain players. And we were warned that this would happen. Seems to happen to every team Doug coaches after 2-3 seasons.

This goes for the Bruins too. Doesn't really have anything to do with my prior complaints. And for the record, I support the playoff system fully. Just so happens that the divisions are unbalanced this year and my team suffers as a result. I am fine with it though. Usually doesn't play out like this (to this much of an extreme, anyway).

Or, more likely, the Bruins draw one of the 3 Atlantic division teams that are better than them despite a lower seed in the 2nd round. But I enjoy your optimism!

Playoff schedule will be released today. Word is that the first 4 games of Flyers-Pens will be Weds-Fri-Sun-Weds. Extra day off thanks to the Sixers being home next Tuesday. Anyway, this is super...no conflict with the Phillies game I have tickets for on Thurs!
