Oh I agree completely. There was absolutely malicious intent. I was just trying to appease the butt-hurt Bruins fans by saying 5 may be harsh . But honestly, after watching the incident several more times, I am now wondering if 5 isn't enough. Absolutely brutal.

5 may be a tad bit harsh, but he definitely deserves to be suspended. I'd have maybe gone 3. ECN, to nobody's surprise, thinks he deserved 0 games. Just had a nice long argument with him on AIM.

Sometimes, it is really hard for me to fathom how dumb sports writers can be. It seems like I re-visit this topic most when the Hall of Fame vote is going on. It will be pretty shameful if Jeff Bagwell is not elected. IMO, he is the most obvious candidate of the past 5 years or so. Jon Heyman, quite possibly the biggest hack in the industry, has already unveiled his ballot, which does not include Bagwell, but does include Jack Morris. Seriously.

That was fantastic. Held Toronto to the lowest single game point total in WFC history. Vucevic looked very good. Was also cool to see Lavoy Allen get some minutes at the end.

Kimmo is in the lineup today. Great news. Also, I went to the Phantoms/Bears game last night at CBP. Incredible crowd. 46,000 people to watch an AHL game. Great mix of Flyers, Capitals, Phantoms, Bears, and other random fans. Great weather too. And, oh yeah, it was an awesome game. Ben Holmstrom scored with 21 seconds left to send the game to OT, and Shane Harper scored the OT winner. The Phantoms really impressed me as a whole. I didn't think they were really in the same class as the Bears, but I thought the game was pretty evenly matched. I am sure I am in the minority, but I am pretty happy about that. Also, lets all be thankful that ECN isn't around to gloat about the Bruins these days, because oh my goodness that team is good.
