If I were a neutral hockey fan, I'd probably like him, especially if I was from Canada. I certainly hope he can get healthy, don't want to see anybody go through what he is apparently going through with this concussion. However, it is hard to root for a guy (on the ice) who plays for your team's arch rival and is as sickly talented as Crosby is, basically what Kyle just wrote. With all of this said, I cannot stand the "Crosby sucks" chants at Flyers-Penguins games (I am sure they happen elsewhere around the league too). It is just dumb beyond belief. Not only does he not suck, but he has an absurd point total in his career in Philly. That trend needs to be retired.

I don't like him because he routinely bends the Flyers over.

Actually, it he is making it sound like it would be a 1-for-1 trade and Winnipeg would stay in the Central. Seems kind of silly to me. Dallas and Minnesota would be way more logical for that division, I think, if the goal is to make travel as fair as possible for everyone. I am not at all excited about DET coming east.

Bob McKenzie tweeted that there is a lot of evidence suggesting the Red Wings will join the Southeast division next season. So I guess the Wild would move to the Central and the Jets to the Northwest?

They scored 20 less runs than the Yankees this year (and 11 less than Red Sox). But with that said, solid cases can be made for all three.

Kind of amazing/frustrating to think how many points this team could be putting up without all of the turnovers. They are getting a ridiculous amount of yardage every week.

I'd agree if they had somebody ready to take over, which they don't. If they lose him, they will need to get very creative.

Yeah, they also have AHL/ECHL teams in San Antonio, Cleveland, and perhaps another NBA city in their NBA arenas. In a lot of these cases, I think they put a curtain over the upper deck and just use the lower bowl for seating. Which is fine when you are only getting 7 or 8K fans per game. I remember in Phoenix, when they had to use the upper deck, there were major sight line problems with the hockey layout.
