No, wins and losses are not relevant at all, regardless of the situation. Again, this guy is a good pitcher. I'd put him in the same slot as Fish. Borderline top 10. Potential to firmly take a place in the top 10 if he is dominant all year. Also, just stop it with the Cy Young talk. He has 30 starts to make. And he is a fly-ball pitcher. Talented as hell, but fly-ball pitchers are by far the hardest to predict. Can't use a 6-game sample size and attempt to project it over a full season with a guy like Weaver. Also, ironically, right after I read this thread, I read a Rob Neyer article pointing out how lucky Weaver has gotten so far this year. Well, a combination of skill and luck have led to his filthy numbers thus far this season. Yep, I am with you, as is the rest of Philadelphia, from what I have gathered. Actually, I am not nearly as pissed that Leighton started over Boucher as I am about Bobrovsky getting booted after game 2. He should be playing.

Can't survive two goaltending meltdowns in one series and expect to still win, despite how well the rest of the team has played. Thoroughly embarrassing if the season ends on account of goaltending, if they are indeed done. On a similar note, enough [expletive]ing around. We need a number one goalie. Whether Bobrovsky steps up or we have to look outside the organization, I don't care. It just needs to happen. I have had enough of this shit. Too many great rosters going to waste.

The two softest goals I have ever seen Briah Boucher give up come in the first 5 minutes of a playoff game. Not a good time for this... Also, Zac Rinaldo (he of more suspensions than goals in the AHL this past season) is in the lineup. Clear response to the shenanigans from game 4.

A better idea would be to get him to stop shooting period. But this has been the bane of my existence for the past three seasons or so. This will never happen. Anyway, it was fun while it lasted.
