That is not who I had in mind, fwiw.

They interviewed Byron Scott during the summer league game today against the Spurs. He said Julian Wright will be in the starting five next season, moving Peja to the bench as instant offense. He also said he was Collison slotted as CP3's backup PG already. Also, stats from the game today from our two draft picks: Collison: 19 pts 6 ast 5 reb Thornton: 22 pts 6 reb 2 stl I'm absolutely stoked that JuJu will get a ton of PT now. I suggested this early last season to ease the minutes and pressure on Peja's old self. Thank you, Byron. http://www.otrbasketball.com/forums/public/style_emoticons/default/cool.gif

Jackson. Comparing basketball and music talent is impossible, but what gives Jackson the edge is that basically EVERYONE knows who he was, he's known globally, and he's touched many more lives. It's hard for me to say as a die hard basketball fan, but it's the truth.

Um, no, he's not. There's really no debating that. He's complete garbage these days. He WAS lyrical, but today, not so much.

Dude really has no life if he takes joy in pulling off crap like that, and like many have said, he wasted a ton of time and money because OTR is going to be better than ever. FWIW, I'm pretty sure I know who it is, too.

Yeah, I don't know, I wasn't a big fan of it due in large part b/c I can't stand Gucci Mane. haha.

Hornets Have 'Inquired' About Moore

Julian is probably my favorite guy on the team outside of CP3. He brings a ton of energy off of the bench, and he's one of our better defenders with his length and athleticism. Unfortunately, he doesn't have a consistent game on offense, and he can be turnover prone at times, which I think is why Byron refuses to give him an increase in minutes. Problem for JuJu is he's a SF behind Peja and Posey on our depth chart. I really wish he'd get more minutes so he could develop. I love when he's in the game. He makes a ton of mistakes, but you can't not like a guy who hustles the entire time. He's also quite an ally-oop option for CP3. -
Yeah, that's my favorite, too. Warriorz - Wyclef

FWIW, "I'mma Go Getta" and "Told Y'all" are two of Wayne's best songs in the past year that he has recently put out. Go Getta is one of my favs from him, but not one his all-time best. Yet, 50 hasn't put out anything near that song in a good long while.

Agreed. Plus Jay-Z brought up several excellent points on Soulja Boy a while back that I completely agree with. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uJRU4ejmvt0&feature=player_embedded People that say Soulja Boy is killing hip hop are just extremely stupid. He's a teenager. He's not about spitting the illest rhymes on how tough his life has been and how he came from the bottom to the top and blah, blah, blah. That's just not who he is, nor who he is trying to be. Dude's just about having fun, and people that listen to his music are in that same boat.

Except Wayne doesn't talk nearly as much crap, and when he's serious, he's amazing with his wordplay and such. And no, the hip-'pop' that he's been rollin' with for the past year isn't what I'm referring to.

Um, no? We need a starting SG, maybe, but that's it. There's really no good SGs in FA this year, especially with our financial limitations. Interior depth is the only thing we can address through FA, and we really need a good bit of it. -

+1 on both Yugo and ATD. Few seem to realize both Rubio and Minnesota's actual position. -
Iverson to Bulls discussion thread
kadillak replied to magicbalala245's topic in Chicago Bulls Team Forum
I think Chicago should just pass on Iverson, save the money, and make a run at Wade next off-season. For one, Iverson loves the ball in his hands, which is good, but not when you're trying to develop your young point guard. Secondly, Chicago can make a legit run at Wade with the money they saved from Gordon and the fact that Wade is from Chicago. Plus, Chicago will be a contending team with a great nucleus in place in the 2010 off-season which would be extra incentive for Wade to join in. -

Here's your basketball explanation. Drake's new video for "Best I Ever Had," directed by Kanye West, premiered Wednesday night. In it, Drizzy coaches a basketball team of well-endowed female lovelies, clad in revealing pink uniforms, who face a more focused and skillful squad of women. Coach Drake doesn't seem heartbroken that his hoopers won't exactly draw comparisons to the Dream Team. "Some of us younger men, we refer to our affiliation with women like a roster," Drake said, explaining the clip's concept to MTV News. "You have key women in your life when you're single and doing your thing." per MTV.com

Nice beat, that's all. That's all 50 is good for these days. Talks a whole lot of crap, but can't do anything lyrical.

Um, Rubio played against Paul in the Olympics and held his own, actually. I know it's one game, but it's one more game than Jennings has to show for. Just ask Kobe and CP3 if they feel Rubio is legit. I think they know what they are talking about. You can't name one person that has said the same for Jennings with matching accolades. -
Correct. I remember you. You were one of our most knowledgeable members, if not the most knowledgeable, haha. Thanks for the welcomes everyone.

I can't wait until Chris Paul plays Jennings and shows him how to play some ball and let his game speak, fwiw. -
You can mail that one to me. Thanks.
