I probably personally know more people here than anyone else [i think 4 or 5 of my 'real life' friends are active here] and it doesn't bother me if I look like an idiot, because, at least where I'm from, people don't talk about message board stuff in real life.

He's just messing around, you will never find a site that has 100% serious members on it, and if you do the forum would be boring. If everyone was posting stuff that didn't relate to the topic then I'd understand where you're coming from, but people aren't going to come here see 1 post that's obviously a joke post and leave. MOST people don't care, but there are a bunch here who do. BB.com has 2.5 million members, and every other post is someone joking around and it's still one of the most active forums on the internet.

I don't know who you were on the old forum, but if you 'knew me' as a mod, I was probably the most loose one here, I rarely did anything unless it was really severe or spam. Many people now-a-days don't have a modern sense of humor to be honest. People are just too uptight for a online forum, like who cares if someone you don't know offends you? There's an option to ignore a members posts so use it. If everyone who didn't like Matt's posts ignored him than everyone here wouldn't be so upset. Just gotta remember that this isn't real life, and if someone you knew saw how upset you were getting at someone on a message board you'd be laughed at [not you, in general].

Don't compare that music to music with lyrics. The majority of artists don't write their own stuff, but they still have the talent to read it off and make it sound good. I know what goes into making house music and if you have a good computer you don't need to use real instruments. You just add stuff electronically and if it sounds bad you take it out. Your hero Dead Mau Five used just a computer for the majority of his career, and you masturbate to him. Most DJs don't even use stuff they made themselves, they just loop popular songs and add like 3-4 sounds and hope people will take some extacy and dance to it. Alot of music takes alot of production to make, it does because the people that PAY the people to make music don't want to hear basic stuff cuz it won't make them money. And YOU were the one who called Kanye a 'god' after his tour so don't act like you don't like him. Plus he writes his own stuff, makes his own music, and doesn't just add a sample and a bassline lmao. Not saying he's god but he definitely has more talent than alot of rappers out there.
