As for the whole worth it or not debate, entirely worth it. First off I don't think favors will ever be anything special not to mention as "the truth" likes to point out we have better options at the PF/C spot. Not to mention its not written in stone that Williams will leave the Nets. Prok can and will convince him to stay with his vision that he has for this organization. Hell that bastard has gotten me to buy into it after I semi-abandoned the nets when they abandoned New Jersey. Just like Cuban turned the Mavs into a big market club Prok will do the same for us. Players will want to play for a committed owner like him.

he's having somewhat of a breakout year and over the last two weeks he's played fantastic in his expanded role averaging 16.8 rebounds and 16.8 PPG. My question is do you guys think he can be a legit starting PF in this league and a good complement to Brook Lopez? Or is he better suited as a limited bench forward? My opinion is if he can keep up similar numbers, obviously not 17 and 17 but maybe 14 and 12, he'd be the perfect guy to complement Lopez and hide some of his deficiencies on the glass. And having him there can let us focus on getting, what I think is a bigger need, a big time perimeter threat. Someone at the 2 guard or SF position which would open up the floor for everyone.

Him and Zoran Planinic were my replacements for when we traded KVH. Second saddest day for me as a Nets fan after the day they announced they were moving to Brooklyn.

I'm thinking about half a season similar to the 98-99 lockout. I don't think we'll see it take the whole season.

Best not to worry about it. Let it play out and see how it goes. Just take joy in all the games that you know are left. Thats how I made it through the NHL lockout.
