For me I'm pretty sure it happened from turning off the computer while it was finishing installing an update.

CobbFC09 I had that problem a while back, and I tried looking for a solution for countless hours. I gave up and just freshly installed the OS again. I think it might have to do with somekind of update that wasnt installed correctly. So if you have a lot of problems with it, might as well back up your files and do a clean install of your OS.

I mean, the storm is a good phone, but imho i think you shouldve waited for the the storm 2 that comes out in the holidays.

Blackberry phone are amazing, mine broke a week ago and i dont know how to keep living without it okay well its not THAT bad but it does suck having a "dumb" phone now. THe storm also has a lot of cool apps that the keyboard ones dont have.

Just make sure you update the firmware to the latest version and you should be fine. Lately the firmwares have been fixing a lot of issues so just go to a blackberry forum and look up info on it.
