  3. LeBron Gaines leading the way to defeat.
  4. I think the timeout being called made it really awkward because it cut off the banter and made it seem like Ian and Mike were serious.
  5. Jose Campos generating some buzz as well. http://www.baseballamerica.com/statistics/players/cards/35742/log
  6. I've often pointed out his less-than-impressive shooting numbers, along with some of his performances in the playoffs last year, but you say "entire life" as if he's been in this league for six or seven years. He's 23 years old. And he certainly was not even close to 100% yesterday. Is he overrated? I think so. But he's still a beast and can improve significantly.
  7. He's a cool dude in my book. http://graphics8.nytimes.com/images/2011/09/29/sports/29redsox1/29redsox1-articleLarge.jpg
  8. Alright then. My points pertaining to Deron, Dwight, Billy King, Gerald Wallace, Johan Petro, Buck Williams, and Wilt Chamberlain still stand.
  9. You act as if I was upset at your original comment. Link Sounds very angry.................. I had no problem with your original post. I was just giving you obvious information. You replied to my post saying I am the least objective fan on this forum, so it made complete sense that I bring in a recent example which was contributing to your statement. Not irrelevant at all. I probably am not objective. I just felt the need to challenge your notion that I am the most biased fan here, when that's completely absurd.
  10. Way to respond to the most insignificant parts of my post and take things out of context. There was no point in replying. Sorry for posting jersey switches, guys. Never should a fan dare to post a player in the jersey of a team for which he does not play, even if the fan is A) joking around or B) enthusiastic that his team is in the lead for a superstar.
  11. He's mad at the front office when he himself was likely under the impression until near March 15 that Dwight intended on landing with the Nets? In case you haven't realized, Deron plays a significant role in calling the shots on this team. That's how this current roster was built. Maybe that's what you wanted to read so that you could fire back at me. Find me where I said we were trading for Dwight/signing Dwight/trading for him/signing him in 2013 with a serious tone. Where was I certain? The only thing I'm shooting down at the moment is the idea that this Dwight situation is over. Apparently, picking up an option determines your team for the rest of your career. I love how you call me the homer for being confident, as if it was ridiculous of me to feel great about our chances. You were pretty far from objective if you honestly thought that there was a bigger chance of Dwight's destination not being the Nets. God forbid I post jersey switches to promote the possibility of the move. Moar atrocious reading comprehension plzzz
  12. It's common sense by now that BK talks to Deron with just about every move he makes. It's a fact that the two agreed on bring Wallace over. Funny how you're going to deny that and label me as a homer. Same deal with the last thread in which I posted. Logical to say that if D-Will returns, we're likely back in the running for Dwight in 2013, yet you respond very immaturely, indicating that I appear to be in denial.
  13. What is incorrect about what I replied?
  14. Nah, King talked to Deron before making the trade. Link
  15. I could list out potential scenarios, but those would just be met with a few "lol" posts, which I don't feel like dealing with, so I'll leave it to you guys to consider the possibilities.
  16. In all seriousness, no, you're looking for something in my post that isn't there. That being said, he picked up his option. You guys act like he signed a five-year deal with Orlando.
  17. No, really. He picked up his option... how does that end matters once and for all?
  18. It was desperation, but the team intends to make a playoff run. We're 4.5 games out of eighth. We had no intentions of trading Deron, and I'm glad that was the case. We're still trying to get him to stay, and it is by no means a given that he will leave. The Nets are not out of the running for Dwight. Not such a far-fetched idea that some news will come up in the near future indicating the Nets have another shot at him. No offense taken. I'm not really sure where else I sided with another one of my team's managements, but in this particular case (as already said in this post), making Deron happy is atop our priorities. That's a huge reason why I agree with it. Desperation? Yes. Necessary? In my mind, yes.
  19. Gilchrist and Drummond have both indicated that they don't plan on declaring. And Barnes' and Sully's talents translating to the NBA are still a concern. I didn't word my post in the best way. Still definitely a great lottery, but not as strong as it appeared a few months ago, and from the Nets' perspective, this was a necessary move for multiple reasons.
